    摘要: The system of the present invention guarantees quality of service with respect to packets transmitted/received between an external network capable of providing differentiated services and a home network. The system includes a packet classifier, a marker, a priority class queue, a scheduler and a token bucket. The packet classifier classifies the packets according to addresses and traffic types. The marker allocates information on priorities to packets transmitted from the home network to the external network. The priority class queue has a plurality of queues classified according to the priorities. The scheduler services packets stored in the priority class queue according to the priorities. The token bucket drops packets, bandwidths of which are above a preset maximum bandwidth, when the packets are generated.

The method of identifying a neighboring device, which is performed in a user terminal, includes: obtaining identification information and location information of a plurality of neighboring devices that can wirelessly communicate with the user terminal; extracting the identification information of one of the neighboring devices, the neighboring device being in the actual location range within the field of vision of the user terminal; and using the extracted identification information to request that the neighboring device perform wireless communication with the user terminal. According to the method and apparatus, identification information of a neighboring device with which a user terminal desires to perform wireless communication can be obtained using a viewfinder or liquid crystal display of the user terminal.

The apparatus includes an optical network unit (ONU) which converts a downstream signal received from a system operator (SO) into an optical signal and transmits the optical signal to an optical cable; and an optical cable modem which receives the optical downstream signal from the ONU and converts the received signal into an electrical signal.
