    摘要: A broadcast receiving system capable of receiving mobile broadcast data and a method for processing broadcast signals are disclosed. The broadcast receiving system includes a first receiving unit, a second receiving unit, a known sequence detector, a equalizer, and a display unit. The first receiving unit receives a first broadcast signal including first mobile broadcast service data and first main broadcast service data. The second receiving unit receives a second broadcast signal including second mobile broadcast service data and second main broadcast service data. The known sequence detector detects at least one of known data included in the received first broadcast signal and known data included in the received second broadcast signal. The channel equalizer uses the detected known data, thereby channel-equalizing the received first and second mobile broadcast service data corresponding to the detected known data. The display unit provides any one of first video data and second video data included in the channel-equalized first and second mobile broadcast service data to a user.

The digital broadcast receiver includes a tuner for receiving a DTV signal, a known data detector for detecting position information of the known data sequences from the DTV signal, an equalizer for compensating a channel distortion of the DTV signal according to at least one of the detected position information of the known data sequences, a first decoder for turbo-decoding, via a block unit, mobile service data in the channel distortion compensated DTV signal, and a second decoder for generating a Reed-Solomon (RS) frame including the turbo-decoded mobile service data and for correcting at least one error of the generated RS frame by performing cyclic redundancy check (CRC) decoding and RS decoding on the generated RS frame.

    摘要: A digital television transmitting system includes a pre-processor, a packet generator, an RS encoder, and a trellis encoder. The pre-processor pre-processes enhanced data by coding the enhanced data for first forward error correction (FEC) and expanding the FEC-coded enhanced data. The packet generator generates first and second enhanced data packets including the pre-processed enhanced data and main data packets and multiplexes the enhanced and main data packets. The first enhanced data packet includes an adaptation field including the pre-processed enhanced data and second enhanced data packet includes a payload region including the pre-processed enhanced data. The RS encoder performs RS encoding on the multiplexed data packets for second forward error correction (FEC), and the trellis encoder performs trellis encoding on the RS-coded data packets.

    摘要: A DTV transmitting system includes a frame encoder, a randomizer, a block processor, a group formatter, a deinterleaver, and a packet formatter. The frame encoder builds an enhanced data frame and encodes the frame two times for first and second error correction, respectively. It further permutes a plurality of encoded data frames. The randomizer randomizes the permuted enhanced data, and the block processor codes the randomized data at a rate of 1/N1. The group formatter forms a group of enhanced data having one or more data regions and inserts the data coded at the rate of 1/N1 into at least one of the data regions. The deinterleaver deinterleaves the group of enhanced data, and the packet formatter formats the deinterleaved data into enhanced data packets.

    摘要: A digital broadcast transmitter and a method of processing a DTV signal in the digital broadcast transmitter are disclosed. The digital broadcast transmitter includes a pre-processor, a first multiplexer, a post-processor, and a second multiplexer. The pre-processor includes a first interleaver, a group formatter, and a packer formatter. The first interleaver interleaves symbols corresponding to mobile service data. The group formatter maps data corresponding to the interleaved symbols into at least one region of a data group and adds place holders for main service data and non-systematic RS parity data to the data group. The packet formatter removes the place holders for the main service data and the non-systematic RS parity data, and generates mobile service data packets having data in the data group in which the place holders for the main service data and the non-systematic RS parity data are removed.
