    摘要: An air bag apparatus in which the appearance of the interface between the portion covering the air bag and portions surrounding it can be improved, the number of components can be reduced, and the assembly process can be shortened. A cover unit covers an air bag, which inflates on a predetermined occasion, consists of a cover which-opens with the inflation of the air bag, and a body for holding the cover. The cover unit is an integrally molded product in which a skin is formed on a substrate, and includes, at the location connecting the periphery of the cover with the body, a breakaway portion along which the cover is separable from the body when the air bag inflates, and a hinge portion for maintaining the connection of the body and the cover. In the breakaway portion, the substrate has a fragile portion, and the skin is separated into two parts at the position of the fragile portion. In the hinge portion, the substrate and skin are continuously formed and extend from the body to the cover.

    摘要: A turbine flowmeter includes an impeller rotatably provided within a flow passage through which a fluid to be measured flows and comprising a rotary shaft which rotates together with the impeller, a pair of bearing part having bearing surfaces for axially supporting the rotary shaft, a holding part for holding the bearing part and provided on the flow passage, an oil accumulating space defined by an end portion of the rotary shaft and bearing surfaces facing respective sides of the end portion, an oil accumulating part provided on the holding part and filled with the lubricating oil to be supplied to the oil accumulating space, an oil supplying part for supplying oil to the oil accumulating space which part comprises a capillary part connected on one end direct to the oil accumulating part and communicated on the other end to the space, wherein the lubricating oil is supplied to the space via the oil supplying part from the oil accumulating part by capillarity introduced in the oil accumulating part and the space, and wherein the surface tension of the lubricating oil in the space is equal to or larger than the surface tension of the lubricating oil in the oil accumulating part.

    摘要: An air conditioning apparatus using a refrigerating cycle in which a scroll compressor is used to compress a refrigerant. The scroll compressor is driven by an induction motor. The speed of the induction motor is controlled by a PWM type inverter which produces an AC voltage of variable frequency. A carrier frequency higher than 10 KHz is used to effect pulse width modulation of the AC voltage of the inverter, whereby generation of uncomfortable noise is avoided. A control unit is provided to detect slip of the induction motor and to adjust the detached slip to a predetermined optimum value, thereby avoiding excessive lowering of the speed of the motor which may cause lack of lubricating oil for the compressor.

When the electric control current fed into the air bleed control valve reaches an upper limit or lower limit and remains at the upper limit or lower limit for a fixed time, the diagnostic system determines that the air-fuel ratio control device has malfunctioned. When the temperature of the engine cooling water is high, a diagnosis is prohibited, to prevent an incorrect diagnosis.
