Abstract: To provide a steel sheet with a tensile strength of 1310 MPa or more that can achieve excellent press formability in a steel having a martensite-dominant microstructure with excellent delayed fracture resistance properties. Disclosed is a steel sheet including: a chemical composition containing, by mass %, C: 0.12-0.40%, Si: 1.5% or less, Mn: 1.7% or less, P: 0.05% or less, S: 0.010% or less, sol.Al: 1.00% or less, N: 0.010% or less, Ti: 0.002-0.080%, and B: 0.0002-0.0050%, with the balance being Fe and inevitable impurities; a metallic structure in which an area ratio of martensite to an entire microstructure is 95% or more, and a ratio LS/LB satisfies a predetermined formula (1), where LS denotes a length of a sub-block boundary and LB denotes a length of a block boundary; and a tensile strength of 1310 MPa or more.

Abstract: The high-strength steel sheet has a predetermined chemical composition and has a microstructure containing a specific microstructure in a surface layer region and in an inner region. The surface layer region has an average grain size of 6 μm or less. A difference between a hardness of the surface layer region extending from the surface of the steel sheet to the position of one-tenth of the thickness of the steel sheet and a hardness of the inner region is 5% or more and 15% or less of [0.3×tensile strength (MPa)], and the steel sheet has a tensile strength of 980 MPa or more, a uniform elongation of 6% or more, and a ratio of a critical bending radius to a thickness of 1.5 or less.

Abstract: Proposed is a method for producing a grain-oriented electrical steel sheet that comprises heating a steel material containing a certain composition and inhibitor-forming ingredients to a temperature in a range of 1300 to 1400° C.; performing hot rolling, hot-band annealing, and cold rolling on the material to obtain a cold-rolled sheet; performing decarburization annealing also serving as primary recrystallization annealing on the cold-rolled sheet; subsequently applying an annealing separator to a surface of the steel sheet; and performing finishing annealing followed by applying an insulation coating. In the method, rapid heating is conducted from 500 and 700° C. in a heating process of the decarburization annealing at a rate of 100 to 1000° C./s while gradual heating is conducted from 860 to 970° C. in a heating process of the finishing annealing at a heating rate of 0.5 to 4.0° C./hr for at least 10 hours.

Abstract: A corrosion resistant duplex stainless steel (ferritic austenitic alloy) is suitable for use in a plant for the production of urea. Uses of the corrosion resistant duplex stainless steel include in objects made of said duplex stainless steel, in methods for the production of urea, in a plant for the production of urea comprising one or more parts made from said duplex stainless steel, and in methods of modifying an existing plant for the production of urea. In one aspect, the composition consists of in weight % (wt %): C 0.010 to 0.015; S 0.08 to 0.23; Mn 1.0 to 1.05; Cr 29.07 to 29.92; Ni 5.76 to 7.17; Mo 3.0 to 4.0; W max 2.55; N 0.3 to 0.35; Cu max 0.01; S max 0.008; P max 0.008; at least one of Ti, Nb, Hf, Ca, Ba, V, and B max 0.5 total; balance Fe and unavoidable occurring impurities.
