摘要: An outer covering of a building includes anchor bolts configured to extend outwardly from an exterior side of floor support structures of the building, a plurality of anchor plates that adjustably mount to the plurality of anchor bolts, and a plurality of spandrel units that mount to an exterior side of the plurality of anchor plates. Each of the plurality of spandrel units includes a first mounting structure that receives a first outer covering section from above and supports a dead weight and lateral load of the first outer covering section via a corresponding one of the plurality of anchor plates and associated anchor bolts, and a second mounting structure configured to rotationally receive a second outer covering section after dead weight of the second outer covering section is loaded on an adjacent spandrel unit located below that one of the plurality of spandrel units.

摘要: A system of structural interlocking panels for forming disaster-resistant buildings, comprising: a hollow, internally-braced, vacuum-insulated panel shell having at least two interlocking sides, the first side having a convex-inward single-curvature, the second side having a straight surface, the third side having a straight surface with at least one integral tongue with at least one head extending vertically-upward for receiving a complementary groove of a first side of an adjacent panel. Panels are thus vertically slide-locked along panel sides and faces, thereby triggering automatic snap joints that prevent backward movement of the panel. The system can assemble spheres, cylinders, toroids, tetrahedrons, flat shapes, and irregular shapes.

摘要: Gypsum panels, sheathing systems, and methods of making and using the same are provided. A gypsum panel includes a gypsum core associated with a first fiberglass mat having a continuous barrier coating, the coating penetrating a portion of the first fiberglass mat opposite the gypsum core, wherein gypsum penetrates a remaining fibrous portion of the first fiberglass mat such that voids in the first fiberglass mat are substantially eliminated. A building sheathing system includes at least two gypsum panels and a seaming component to provide a seam at an interface between the gypsum panels.

摘要: The present invention relates to a novel process for the production of novel fiber-reinforced profile materials comprising a rigid foam core, in particular a PMI foam core. In particular, the present invention relates to a novel process which can be carried out in two variants, a short Pul-press process and a Pul-shape process. One step here produces a fiber-reinforced profile material and simultaneously inserts the rigid foam core into same. The same step moreover ensures very good binding of the rigid foam core to the fiber-reinforced profile material.

摘要: The installation of panelized wall systems requires the use of connection tracks to both align and hold the panels in the precise location according the specification provided in the structural engineered plans. Some panelized wall systems are comprised of two panels disposed in a parallel position so as to define a wall cavity to contain plumbing, other utilities and insulation. In the prior art, connection tracks are made of one monolithic piece, which has the unfortunate characteristic of transferring thermal energy from one side of the connection track to the other. Disclosed embodiments break the thermal bridge of the prior art while maintaining the structural integrity of the prior art embodiments. While the disclosed connection tracks achieve desired thermal properties, they present new challenges in installation. A disclosed jig and corner installation system is required to install the disclosed connection tracks in a precisely parallel position to each other.

摘要: A vacuum insulated panel (VIP) and a method of manufacturing a VIP includes a rigid core material having high insulation and low conductivity properties. The rigid core may be made of an inorganic material that effectively mimics a porous silica core material. The core material includes large particles of an inorganic material having a diameter in a range of 10 μm to 50 μm. A portion of these large particles may be ground into small particles having a diameter of less than 1 μm. The small particles are mixed with a portion of the large particles to form a core material which is then mixed with a fiber skeleton and compacted under vacuum along with a fibrous skeleton for structure. The resulting structure provides a porosity ranging from 10 nm to 1 μm in diameter.
