摘要: In a coolant system, the interior of a reservoir frame storing the coolant discharged from a machine tool is partitioned by a partition member into an outer peripheral coolant tub and a central coolant tub. The partition member is formed with a silt that extends in the depth direction to make the outer peripheral coolant tub communicate with the central coolant tub. A suction port of a pump that feeds the coolant in the central coolant tub to a filtering device is arranged in the central coolant tub. The coolant discharged from the machine tool is supplied to the central coolant tub without passing through the outer peripheral coolant tub. At least a part of the coolant filtered by the filtering device is supplied to the outer peripheral coolant tub without passing through the central coolant tub.

摘要: A sliding member includes a base material portion formed of steel; a nitrogen diffusion layer with a thickness of 10 μm to 50 μm; and a nitrogen compound layer with a thickness of 10 μm to 50 μm. The nitrogen compound layer and the nitrogen diffusion layer are formed by performing a first heating process of performing heat treatment on a material formed of steel in an ammonia atmosphere at a temperature of 570° C. to 660° C., a second heating process of performing heat treatment on the material in a non-oxidizing and non-ammonia atmosphere at a temperature of 660° C. to 690° C., the temperature in the second heating process being higher than the temperature in the first heating process, and an oil cooling process of performing oil cooling treatment at an oil temperature of 60° C. to 80° C. subsequently to the second heating process.

摘要: A magnetic separator for purifying coolant including sludge mainly comprising needle-shaped chips for the purpose of recycling. A comb-type guide plate formed of a magnetic substance material is provided before a squeezing roller, in such a manner that convex and concave portions are in conformity with the magnetic lines of force produced by the arrangement of magnets of a fixed magnet-group cylinder stored in a rotary cylinder. Thus, magnetic flux curtains are formed between the convex portions and the rotary cylinder. Needle-shaped chips which have come as attracted sludge standing in the shape of a jet on the outer peripheral surface of the rotary cylinder are interrupted from going ahead by the magnetic flux curtains, and become accumulated sludge, and are led to lying attracted sludge on the left and right sides. Thus, the attracted sludge is prevented from stabbing a squeezing roller, and operations of extracting liquid from the sludge are continued without causing any trouble.

摘要: A highly corrosion-resistant member that is equipped with: a substrate made of stainless steel; an intermediate layer coated on at least a part of a surface of the substrate; and an amorphous carbon film coated on at least a part of a surface of the intermediate layer is completed by forming the intermediate layer and amorphous carbon film at such a low temperature that a temperature of the surface of the substrate is 450° C. or less. Another highly corrosion-resistant member that is equipped with: a substrate made of stainless steel, substrate whose superficial-layer portion is subjected to nitriding treatment; and an amorphous carbon film coated on at least a part of a surface of the superficial-layer portion is completed by carrying out the nitriding treatment and a formation of the amorphous carbon film at such a low temperature that a temperature of a surface of said substrate is 450° C. or less.In the aforementioned highly corrosion-resistant members, the surface of the substrate that is made of stainless steel is not exposed to high temperatures (>450° C.). Consequently, the corrosion resistance of the substrate is kept equivalent to the corrosion resistance of the original stainless steel that has not been exposed to any high temperature.
