摘要: The present invention relates to the use of a bonding resin prepared by providing an aqueous solution comprising at least one biobased product selected from tannin, starch, soy protein, glycerol, chitin, pectin, dextrose or other carbohydrates, or a mixture thereof and mixing the aqueous solution with one or more of certain crosslinkers such as ethers, and optionally one or more additives. The bonding resin is used in the manufacture of laminates, mineral wool insulation or wood products, such as engineered wood products, such as plywood, oriented strandboard (OSB), laminated veneer lumber (LVL), medium density fiberboards (MDF), high density fiberboards (HDF) or particle boards. Preferably, the bonding resin does not comprise lignin.

摘要: A device for processing logs, comprises a deicing apparatus (11), a debarking apparatus (22), arranged downstream of the deicing apparatus, a thermal camera (30), arranged to acquire a thermal image of at least one log downstream of the debarking apparatus, and a processing device (40). The processing device (40) is configured to receive the thermal image from the thermal camera, to process the thermal image to determine a log surface temperature, and to provide a deicing control signal to the deicing apparatus (11) based on the log surface temperature. A method of processing logs is also disclosed.

摘要: A method is provided for coating a fibrous web, in particular a fibrous web comprising nanocellulose fibres. The method includes steps of applying a coating agent to a textured surface region of a textured substrate, applying a fibre furnish or a wet fibrous web onto the coated textured surface region of the textured substrate, optionally dewatering to provide a wet fibrous web, and drying said wet fibrous web such that at least a portion of said coating agent is transferred to said fibrous web. The method provides a coated fibrous web with improved barrier properties.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a barrier film comprising highly refined cellulose, said method comprising: a) providing a highly refined cellulose pulp suspension comprising highly refined cellulose pulp having a Schopper-Riegler (SR) number in the range of 40-98 as determined by standard ISO 5267-1 and a content of fibers having a length >0.2 mm of at least 7 million fibers per gram based on dry weight, at a consistency in the range of 0.1-1.5 wt %; b) forming a web of the highly refined cellulose pulp suspension and dewatering the web in a paper machine former on a wire to a consistency of at least 5 wt % to obtain a substrate web, wherein the white water removed from the pulp contains 2-25 wt %, preferably 5-20 wt % and more preferably at least 5-15 wt % of the solids of the highly refined cellulose pulp suspension provided in step a); c) optionally further dewatering and optionally drying the substrate web; d) coating the optionally further dewatered and optionally dried substrate web with a coating suspension comprising cellulose fines or microfibrillated cellulose to obtain a coated web; and e) dewatering and/or drying the coated web to obtain a barrier film comprising highly refined cellulose.

摘要: The present invention relates to a process for manufacturing a film comprising high amounts of microfibrillated cellulose (MFC), having haptic properties. According to the present invention, a wet web comprising MFC is formed, followed by addition of particles having an average diameter of at least 1 μm to the wet web, followed by dewatering and/or drying. The wet web may be formed for example by wet laid or cast forming methods. The particles may be added to the wet web for example by cast coating or spraying.

摘要: A 3D shaped product (20) is formed by hot pressing of an air-laid blank (10) comprising natural fibers at a concentration of at least 70% by weight of the air-laid blank and a thermoplastic polymer binder at a concentration selected within an interval of from 2.5 up to 30% by weight of the air-laid blank. The 3D shaped product (20) is recyclable in a repulping process. At least a part of the thermoplastic polymer binder is water soluble at a repulping temperature of the repulping process. The 3D shaped product (20) are environmentally friendly alternatives to plastic 3D shaped products made by foamed polymers and can be recycled in existing recycling schemes.
