摘要: A leadframe has a die pad area and an outer layer of a first metal having a first oxidation potential. The leadframe is placed in contact with a solution containing a second metal having a second oxidation potential, the second oxidation potential being more negative than the first oxidation potential. Radiation energy is then applied to the die pad area of the leadframe contacted with the solution to cause a local increase in temperature of the leadframe. As a result of the temperature increase, a layer of said second metal is selectively provided at the die pad area of the leadframe by a galvanic displacement reaction. An oxidation of the outer layer of the leadframe is then performed to provide an enhancing layer which counters device package delamination.

摘要: A method and apparatus for selectively connecting a first fluid communication region to a further fluid communication region are disclosed. The apparatus comprises an elongate housing, locatable in a wellbore, comprising a first end portion associated with a first fluid communication region; a sheath member axially slidable within the housing and biased towards the first end portion via at least one biasing element; and an elongate shuttle member axially slidable within the housing and slidably locatable in a sealed relationship or non-sealed relationship with the sheath member; wherein the biasing element provides a predetermined biasing force that determines a threshold pressure which must be exceeded by a fluid pressure in the first fluid communication region to permit axial movement of the sheath member away from the first fluid communication region or towards a further fluid communication region.

摘要: A gas hydrate inhibitor formulation used to prevent or inhibit the formation of gas hydrates in multi-phase fluids, such as hydrocarbon production fluids, includes at least one gas hydrate inhibitor and at least one organic carbonate solvent, which may be an organic carbonate, a derivative of the organic carbonate, or a combination thereof. The at least one organic carbonate solvent may be ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate, glycerol carbonate, an aromatic carbonate, a dialkyl carbonate, an alkyl carbonate, or a combination of the same. The at least one gas hydrate inhibitor may be polyesteramides, polyvinylpyrrolidones, a vinylcaprolactam/vinyl pyrrolidone copolymer, polyvinyl caprolactam or a combination thereof.

摘要: A processing system includes a communication system and a processing core configured to generate write requests. A circuit has associated a slave interface circuit configured to manage an address sub-range and selectively forward write requests addressed to a given address. Configuration data specifies whether the given address is protected/unprotected and locked/unlocked. In response to a received write request, address and data are extracted and a determination based on the configuration data is made as to whether the extracted address is protected/unprotected, and locked/unlocked. When the extracted address is unprotected or unlocked, the slave interface forwards the write request. When the extracted address is protected and locked, the slave interface generates an unlock signal in response to a comparison of the extracted address with the extracted data, with the unlock signal being asserted when the extracted data satisfy a predetermined rule with respect to the extracted address.

An oscillator generates a system clock that is independent of and asynchronous to the resonant drive frequency. A clock generator circuit outputs a first clock and a second clock that are derived from the system clock. The drive loop of the driving circuit including an analog-to-digital converter (ADC) circuit that is clocked by the first clock and a digital signal processing (DSP) circuit that is clocked by the second clock.

摘要: The present invention provides a PHHM for the measurement of a subject's BP and, optionally, one or more other vital signs, comprising a housing located on a PHHCD or a hand-held component of a computing system; a blood flow occlusion means located in the housing such that, when the housing is located on the PHHCD or the hand-held component, an open surface of the blood flow occlusion means is available to be pressed against a body part of the subject or to have a body part of the subject pressed against it; a pressure sensor adapted to provide an electrical signal indicative of the pressure applied to or by the open surface; a means for detecting the flow of blood in the body part of the subject when pressure is applied to or by the open surface; and means for receiving electrical signals from the pressure sensor and the blood flow detecting means and for transmitting electrical signals indicative of the pressure and blood flow to the processor of the PHHCD or the computing system, wherein the processor of the PHHCD or computing system is adapted to process signals acquired by the pressure sensor and the blood flow detecting means to provide at least a measurement of the BP of a subject, the processor is further adapted to carry out a process to measure a DBP value and a SBP value, the DBP and the SBP values are estimated in such a way that the difference between the measured optical signals and those that would be generated by the estimation of the DBP and SBP values is minimized or the DBP and the SBP values are estimated in such a way that the difference between the measured incremental pressure signals and those that would be generated by the estimation of the DBP and SBP values is minimized. The present invention also provides alternative PHHMs and SADs for use in such PHMS.

摘要: Shelf-stabilized H2S scavengers and methods for preparing such shelf-stabilized H2S scavengers. In one aspect, a stabilized hydrogen sulfide scavenger configured for storage at an elevated temperature includes a base scavenger, free formaldehyde, and a stabilizing alcohol. In another aspect, a method of preparing the stabilized hydrogen sulfide scavenger includes the steps of providing a quantity of base scavenger; providing a quantity of free formaldehyde; and adding a quantity of stabilizing alcohol, wherein the quantity of stabilizing alcohol is determined as a function of the provided quantity of free formaldehyde. In yet another aspect, the stabilized scavenger includes about 25 wt. % base scavenger, wherein the base scavenger is an amine-aldehyde condensate; about 15 wt. % free formaldehyde; and between about 10 wt. % and about 25 wt. % stabilizing alcohol.
