    摘要: The method includes gathering field data of a formation, preparing samples of brine consistent with the composition of the formation brine and the injection brine, dead crude oil, and live crude oil, and characterizing the properties of crude oil samples. The method includes preparing samples of reservoir rock and characterizing the properties of the rock samples of the formation. The method includes measuring the contact angle of surfactant/formation brine/formation rock/formation crude oil samples at ambient and reservoir conditions and measuring the interfacial tension of the sample. The method includes characterizing the HLD properties of each surfactant. In addition, the method includes performing formulation targeting HLD=0 for a mixture of surfactants, performing laboratory evaluation of the HLD=0 formulation of the mixture of the surfactants to obtain values of oil recovery number, and testing the HLD=0 formulation of the mixture of the first and second selected surfactants in the formation.

    摘要: The present disclosure concerns a process for converting methyl halides to ethylene and propylene, said process comprising the steps of (a) providing a feedstream comprising methyl halides; (b) providing a first and second catalyst composition, said second catalyst composition comprising a cracking catalyst; (c) contacting said feedstream with said first catalyst composition in a first reaction zone under first reaction conditions to provide a first product stream; and (d) subjecting at least a part of said first product stream to an Olefin Catalytic Cracking with said second catalyst composition in a second reaction zone under second reaction conditions to provide a second product steam. The process is remarkable in that said step (c) is performed under 400° C., and in that said first catalyst composition comprises molecular sieves with a Si/Al atomic between 2 and 18 and with a plurality of pores with a shape of an 8-membered ring or less.

    摘要: A heart assist device comprising a rotary pump housing having a cylindrical bore, a pumping chamber and a motor stator including an electrically conductive coil located within the housing and surrounding a portion of the cylindrical bore. A rotor has a cylindrical shaft with an impeller and one or of magnets located within the shaft that are responsive to the motor stator to drive actuation of the rotor. The housing bore is closely fitted to the outer surface of the shaft forming a hydrodynamic journal bearing with an annular clearance defining a leakage flow path. One or more of radial or axial thrust bearings may be provided to provide rotation stability to the rotor and flow within the leakage flow path. The relative orientation of positions of the inflow, outflow, and leakage flow paths may be varied within the pump, such as to accommodate different intended methods for implantation and/or use.
