    摘要: The invention relates to a method for removing an excess of a liquid from a molded article that comprises two opposite planar faces and interior cavities and/or channels to be coated with the liquid. The inventive method is characterized by removing in a first removal step, once the liquid has been introduced into the interior cavities and/or channels, the major portion of the excess liquid under the influence of an external force, and removing in a second removal step the excess liquid remaining in the molded article after the first removal step by contacting the molded article with a porous and/or channel-bearing support on the very face where the excess was removed. The pore and/or channel diameter of the support is smaller or equal the diameter of the interior cavities and/or channels of the molded article.

    摘要: A process for preparing cyclooctaamylose by enzymatic cleavage of an aqueous preparation of starch in the presence of a complexing agent is disclosed. As a selective complexing agent for cyclooctaamylose, a compound of the formula I is employed. ##STR1## in which A, B, D and E, independently of one another, represent ##STR2## (R=hydrogen, alkyl, hydroxyl, alkoxy or carboxyl radical), and m, n, o and p are within the limits 0 to 20, with the proviso that the number of atoms forming the ring is within the limits from 13 to 24. The compounds prepared by the process of the invention are useful in the medicaments sector, in crop protection and cosmetics, or in the foodstuffs industry.

    摘要: The invention relates to a device and a method for filling a molded article that comprises a plurality of at least partially communicating interior cavities with a liquid phase or for removing the excess of a liquid phase used to coat a molded article comprising interior cavities. The inventive method is characterized in that filling or removal of the excess from the interior cavities is carried out by way of an acceleration process and a subsequent braking process, deceleration being faster than the previous acceleration, with the proviso that the inertial forces caused by deceleration and acting upon the excess liquid phase are higher than the sum of the other opposite forces also acting upon the liquid phase.

    摘要: The invention relates to a process for preparing pyromellitic dianhydride (PMDA) by heterogeneously catalyzed oxidation in the gas phase by means of a gas containing molecular oxygen. The process involves oxidizing benzaldehydes which are 2,4,5-trialkylated by C.sub.1 - to C.sub.3 -alkyl groups or mixtures of benzaldehydes which are 2,4,5-trialkylated by C.sub.1 - to C.sub.3 -alkyl groups and benzenes which are 1,2,4,5-tetraalkylated by C.sub.1 - to C.sub.3 -alkyl groups in the presence of a catalyst. The catalyst contains as active components 5% to 95% by weight of one or more transition-metal oxides of sub-group IV of the Periodic Table of the Elements, from 1% to 50% by weight of one or more transition-metal oxides of sub-group V of the Periodic Table of the Elements. The catalyst also contains from 0% to 10% by weight of one or more oxides of elements of main group I of the Periodic Table of the Elements and/or from 0% to 50% by weight of one or more oxides of elements of main groups III, IV and V of the Periodic Table of the Elements and of elements of sub-groups VI and VII of the Periodic Table of the Elements. The indicated percentages by weight are based in each case on the total weight of the active components and add to 100% by weight.
