Disclosed is the structure of a center pin inserted into the winding center of a winding-type electrode assembly of an electrochemical device, which has a case containing the winding-type electrode assembly. The center pin can be manufactured through a simple process and can secure the safety of an electrochemical device when physical impact (e.g. squeezing, shock) is applied from the outside or when the internal temperature rises. The center pin is manufactured by winding a planar substrate, which has at least two protrusions formed in an embossing type or which has at least two scores formed in a predetermined shape, into a tubular shape.

Disclosed are a washing machine and a method of controlling spin-drying of the washing machine. The method changes the acceleration gradient of the drum passing a resonance point, i.e., the resonance point passing gradient of the drum, when the imbalance of the laundry due to the excessive vibration of the tub is sensed when passing a resonance point region (generally within 100 RPM, approximately 50˜80 RPM, after the entry into the spin-drying cycle) in the spin-drying cycle. Thus the position of the balancer is changed according to the imbalance of the laundry.

The present invention provides a method for measuring the temperature of a motor for a hybrid electric vehicle. In preferred embodiments, the method of the present invention can preferably ensure the stability and reliability of motor control by extending the linearity of a temperature sensor attached to the motor within a required measurement range. The present invention preferably provides a method for measuring the temperature of a motor for a hybrid electric vehicle, in which a required measurement range of motor temperature is divided into high and low temperature ranges and a hardware gain circuit is divided into first and second gain blocks such that the first gain block measures the temperature of the high temperature range and the second gain block measures the temperature of the low temperature range.

An apparatus, method, and medium for dialogue speech recognition using topic domain detection are disclosed. An apparatus includes a forward search module performing a forward search in order to create a word lattice similar to a feature vector, which is extracted from an input voice signal, with reference to a global language model database, a pronunciation dictionary database and an acoustic model database, which have been previously established, a topic-domain-detection module detecting a topic domain by inferring a topic based on meanings of vocabularies contained in the word lattice using information of the word lattice created as a result of the forward search, and a backward-decoding module performing a backward decoding of the detected topic domain with reference to a specific topic domain language model database, which has been previously established, thereby outputting a speech recognition result for an input voice signal in text form. Accuracy and efficiency for a dialogue sentence are improved.
