    摘要: The invention relates to a method of torrefaction of an optionally predried biomass in a torrefaction reactor such that torrefied biomass and torrefaction gases are obtained, and wherein an oxygen-containing gas is supplied to the torrefaction reactor at a first position in the reactor such that oxygen reacts with components of the torrefaction gases under the formation of heat and wherein torrefaction gases are withdrawn from the torrefaction reactor at a second position of the torrefaction reactor and wherein the first position is located downstream of the second position in relation to a biomass transport direction in the torrefaction reactor such that the torrefaction gases moves through the torrefaction reactor countercurrent with the biomass transport and wherein the optionally predried biomass has a temperature of between 30° C. and 230° C., preferably between 50° C. and 200° C., most preferably between 60° C. and 180° C. when entering the torrefaction rector.

    摘要: A gas turbine engine airfoil extending from an airfoil base to an airfoil tip at a free end of the airfoil and from a leading edge to a trailing edge of the airfoil has at least one recess extending into and circumferentially completely through the airfoil tip and located inwardly of the leading and trailing edges. The recess is located in an area of the airfoil tip subject to high tip vibratory stress and or rubs and may be a circular scallop having a scallop radius and a maximum depth of a few mills in a range of about 0.005-0.01 inches as measured from a nominal tip edge without the recess. The airfoil may be on a radial blade, a stator vane, or an impeller blade. An annular tip seal may surround a plurality of such airfoil tips with an airfoil tip clearance therebetween.

    摘要: A dispenser for rolls of web-shaped material, includes a housing having at its bottom part an outlet opening for the web-shaped material and a space for at least two rolls arranged substantially horizontally. A first part of the space is located adjacent the outlet opening and is intended for a first roll in a dispensing position and a second part of the space includes a locking element intended to keep the second roll in standby position. The first part is provided with holding elements for keeping the first roll in use position, the holding elements are spring-loaded and cooperate with the locking elements such that when a roll is located in the first space the locking element prevent the standby roll from falling down, but when the first roll is released from the first space the locking element release and permits the standby roll to occupy the dispensing position.

    摘要: A hair-curling device for creating curls. The device comprises in combination: two cylindrical bodies, an elastic band, and connection cap. Each of the bodies is a smoothed surfaced cylindrical tapered hollowed body, each with or without perforations along the length. The bodies are secured together with an elastic band that has spherical ends. One end of the band is secured into slots on the wide portion of the bodies, thereby creating a hinge to keep the bodies together as the stylist wraps the trees of hair. The opposite end of the elastic band is secured into a slot on the connection cap. After the tress of hair has been wrapped, a cylindrical protrusion on the connection cap is secured into the narrow end of one unit of the bodies that is opposite the other unit of the bodies in which the elastic band has been extended across.
