摘要: The invention relates to polymer comprising structural units according to formula (I), R1—X—(C═O)—NH—R2—NH—(C═O)—O—POA-R3—(O—POA-R4)n wherein R1 represents an organic group terminated by a hydrocarbyl group having 6 to 50 carbon atoms, X represents O or N—R5, wherein R5 represents a hydrogen atom or a hydrocarbyl group having 1 to 30 carbon atoms, R2 represents an aliphatic hydrocarbyl group having 4 to 40 carbon atoms, POA represents a polyoxyalkylene group, R3 represents an organic group having 2 to 40 carbon atoms, n is an integer from 1 to 6, R4 is independently selected from —(C═O)—NH—R2—NH—(C═O)—X—R1, —(C═O)—NH—R1, —R6, wherein R6 represents a hydrogen atom or an aliphatic or aromatic group having 1 to 24 carbon atoms, and wherein the polymer has an average of at least 1.8 end groups R1 per molecule, a number average molecular weight in the range of 2000 to 100000 Daltons, a polydispersity in the range of 1.0 to 5.0, wherein the quotient of the polydispersity divided by (n+1) is less than 1.0, with the proviso that the polymer is not the reaction product of a) the mono-adduct of isophorone diisocyanate with 1-dodecanol and b) a polyether based on glycerol and a mixture of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide with an OH number of 18 mg KOH/g.

摘要: The invention relates to a urea preparation containing (A) 5 to 75 wt. % of one or more urea components which have a molecular weight of at least 350 g/mol and contain at least one urea group; (B) 15 to 95 wt. %, preferably 30 to 80 wt. %, of one or more organic solvents from the group of N alkyl amides that have a molecular weight of 155 to 700 g/mol, are free of urea groups, and have the following formula (I), in which (a) R1 is an x-containing hydrocarbon group, where x=1 to 24 carbon atoms, R2 is a y-containing organic group, where y=1 to 12 carbon atoms, and R3 is a z-containing organic group, where z=1 to 12 carbon atoms, or (b) R1, R2, and R3 are defined as in (a) but R1 and R2 are connected to each other by a chemical bond and together form a ring with 4 to 10 ring atoms while incorporating the group C(═O)N, and in the case of a ring with 4 or 5 ring atoms, R3 contains at least 6 carbon atoms and maximally 11 carbon atoms, or (c) R1, R2, and R3 are defined as in (a) but R2 and R3 are connected to each other by a chemical bond and together form a ring with 4 to 10 ring atoms while incorporating the nitrogen atom of the general formula (I) with the proviso that for each of (a), (b), and (c), x+y+z≧8; (C) 0 to 35 wt. % of one or more organic solvents which differ from (B) and do not contain urea groups or ionic groups and which have maximally two heteroatoms selected from the group consisting of nitrogen and oxygen; and (D) 0 to 50 wt. % of a salt which differs from the urea component(s) (A), the solvent(s) (B), and the solvent(s) (C), wherein the sum of all of the stated weight percentages equals the total weight of the urea preparation. The invention further relates to the use of the urea preparation as a rheology additive for liquid compositions and to liquid media which contain the urea preparations.

摘要: The present invention relates to a urea group containing product comprising one or more species of formula (I) R1—X—(C═O)—[NH—R2—NH—(C═O)—NH—R3—NH—(C═O)]n—NH—R2—NH—(C═O)—X—R1 (I), 5 wherein R1 is independently selected from organic groups having (4) to (200) carbon atoms, X is O or NR4, wherein R4 is a hydrogen atom or an aliphatic or aromatic group having (1) to (30) carbon atoms, R2 is independently selected from hydrocarbyl groups having (4) to (40) carbon atoms, R3 is independently selected from hydrocarbyl groups having (2) to (40) carbon atoms, and wherein on average (76) to (100) mol % of all R3 groups contained in the one or more species of formula (I) are hydrocarbyl groups having (2) or (3) carbon atoms, and n is an integer of (2) to (150). The invention further relates to a method of manufacturing such urea group containing products, liquid compositions containing the same and the use of such liquid compositions as rheology control additives. Furthermore, the invention relates to a process for rheology adjustment adding such liquid composition to semi-finished or final products. The invention also relates to an article coated with the liquid composition.
