    摘要: Crystalline molecular sieves having three-dimensional microporous framework structures of MnO.sub.2, AlO.sub.2, SiO.sub.2 and PO.sub.2 tetrahedral oxide units are disclosed. These molecular sieves have an empirical chemical composition on an anhydrous basis expressed by the formula:mR: (Mn.sub.w Al.sub.x P.sub.y Si.sub.z)O.sub.2wherein "R" represents at least one organic templating agent present in the intracrystalline pore system; "m" represents the molar amount of "R" present per mole of (Mn.sub.w Al.sub.x P.sub.y Si.sub.z)O.sub.2 ; and "w", "x", "y" and "z" represent the mole fractions of manganese, aluminum, phosphorus and silicon, respectively, present as tetrahedral oxides. Their use as adsorbents, catalysts, etc. is also disclosed.

    摘要: Ammonia, particularly aqueous ammonia is sequestered in unexpected large amounts on zeolite molecular sieves having high proportions of silica with respect to alumina in their crystal frameworks. While conventional adsorption mechanisms are to some degree involved, it is apparent from the fact that the characteristic odor of ammonia is not detectable by the human sense of smell over the ammonia-loaded adsorbents indicates that other mechanisms are operable. These properties provide the basis for processes and products which are useful in removing ammonia from an environment to alleviate health hazards or unpleasant odor.

    摘要: Marine oils are deodorized by contact with an effective amount of crystalline siliceous molecular sieves having strongly organophilic properties and pore diameters of at least 5.5 Angstroms. The molecular sieves selectively adsorb odorous organic amines and other odor-producing molecular species, such as aldehydes and ketones, without alteration of the essential unsaturated fatty acid triglycerides.
