摘要: The invention relates to is a crosslinked composition containing in parts by weight: 20 to 100 parts of at least one elastomer (I), 2 to 50 parts of at least one core/shell copolymer (II), and 0 to 100 parts of at least one thermoplastic polymer (III). The invention also relates to a method of producing one such crosslinked composition, which is characterized in that it consists in: mixing an elastomer and a core/shell copolymer optionally in the presence of: a grafted polyolefin, a plasticizer, fillers and/or additives, and a suitably-selected crosslinking system, and subsequently crosslinking said mixture at a suitable temperature. In a preferred embodiment of the invention, the mixture is crosslinked at a temperature of between 150 and 320° C. The invention method be carried out in an internal mixer, or, alternately, in a twin-screw extruder or a Buss®-type co-kneader. Depending on the case, the resulting mass is calendared or extruded, cooled and subsequently granulated. The granules thus obtained are then ready to be transformed, by means of heating, into sheets, plates, extrusions, tubes or other desired products. The invention further relates to the use of one such composition in the production of ducts, pipes, tubing, couplers or similar for conveying fluids, such as the fluid transfer conduits, pipes and other elements which are used in the automobile industry in braking, cooling, steering and air-conditioning systems. The inventive crosslinked composition can also be used in the production of belts, tires, electrical cable sheaths, and shoe soles.”

摘要: The present invention provides grafted ethylene copolymers usable more especially as additives for inhibiting the depositions in crude oils.Said copolymer being formed of ethylene and at least one monomer with ethylenic unsaturation, chosen from vinyl esters of C.sub.2 to C.sub.18 monocarboxylic acids, the alkyl esters in the C.sub.1 to C.sub.12 range of unsaturated monocarboxylic acids from the C.sub.3 to C.sub.12 range and the .alpha., .beta.-unsaturated dicarboxylic compounds, on which are fixed the grafts of a homo or copolymer of an .alpha., .beta.-unsaturated monocarboxylic acid ester with at least one alkanol of a chain length equal to or greater than C.sub.12 and at least 20% of which is of a chain length equal to or greater than C.sub.22. Such copolymers may be used more especially as additives for inhibiting the deposition of paraffins and for improving the flow properties of the crude oils.

摘要: The impact resistance of resin compositions consisting of a thermoplastic polymer, particularly a homopolymer or copolymer of vinyl chloride can be improved by an impact additive of the graft copolymer type. The graft copolymer impact additive consists of a backbone composed of a statistical copolymer of butadiene or isoprene, an alkyl acrylate of a C.sub.2 to C.sub.12 alkyl, and optionally a polyfunctional cross-linking agent, onto which are grafted the chains of a statistical copolymer of an alkyl methacrylate of a C.sub.1 to C.sub.4 alkyl, particularly methyl methacrylate, and an alkyl acrylate of a C.sub.1 to C.sub.8 alkyl, particularly ethyl acrylate. The backbone of the graft copolymer impact additive comprises 0.5-35% by weight butadiene or isoprene, and up to 10 mole % of the cross-linking agent, while the graft chains of the graft copolymer comprise 5 to 50 mole % of the alkyl acrylate of a C.sub.1 to C.sub.8 alkyl, and the weight ratio between the grafted chains and the backbone can range from 10 to 200%.The resin compositions are particularly useful to improve impact strength at low temperatures.
