Abstract: A battery device includes a battery pack, a circuit substrate which acquires battery information on the battery pack or controls charge and discharge of the battery pack, a switch including a first power element or a second power element, and a heat radiator. The switch is a device controlling input and output of electric power to and from the battery pack, and an exterior part of the switch is arranged away from the circuit substrate. The heat radiator is a member made of a material having thermal conductivity, and is in direct contact with or indirect contact via a heat conductor with the exterior part of the switch so that heat of the switch can be transferred.

Abstract: A power source apparatus includes a plurality of batteries, a chassis having an inner space surrounded by a plurality of wall surfaces including a first lateral wall surface, a first vertical wall surface, a second lateral wall surface, a second vertical wall surface and storing the batteries in the inner space, and a blower having a blowing portion to blow air. The power source apparatus further includes an air introduction path formed between the first lateral wall surface and the batteries and configured to introduce the air to the batteries. The blowing portion is arranged between the batteries and the second lateral wall surface and is closer to the second vertical wall surface than to a position at which the separation distance is maximized.

Abstract: A power source apparatus includes a plurality of batteries, a blower having a blowing portion arranged on one side of the batteries, the blower being configured to blow air from the blowing portion, a chassis having an inner space surrounded by a plurality of wall surfaces that include a first wall surface and a second wall surface and storing the batteries in the inner space. The power source apparatus includes an air introduction path formed between the first wall surface and the batteries, the air introduction path being configured to introduce the air to the batteries, and a flow path formed between the second wall surface and the batteries, the flow path being configured to introduce the air blown from the blower to the air introduction path, the air introduction path having at least partially a first cross-sectional area larger than a second cross-sectional area of the flow path.

Abstract: A battery pack includes a plurality of battery stacks integrated by stacking a plurality of unit batteries, a fluid passage where fluid flows for cooling the unit batteries disposed between the battery stacks, a blower for circulating the fluid in the fluid passage, and a plurality of heat conducting plates. The heat conducting plate is thermally connected to an outer casing of the unit batteries constituting the battery stacks adjacent to each other, and disposed so as to constitute a plurality of cooled portions of which parts thereof exist in the fluid passage. The battery pack includes a passage forming member that demarcates the fluid passage as an independent passage from the area near the outer casing of the unit battery, and includes a partition wall for supporting the heat conducting plate.

Abstract: A battery pack has a casing, electric fans, battery temperature thermistors and a battery management unit. The casing accommodates the battery cell stacks. The electric fans generate an air circulation in the inside chamber of the casing. The thermistors detect a temperature of the battery cells. At least one of the thermistors is arranged in each of the battery cell stack to detect a temperature of a battery cell arranged at a specific location in a battery cell stacking direction. At least one of the thermistors arranged in one battery cell stack in a pair of the battery cell stacks selected from all of the battery cell stacks detects a temperature of the battery cell arranged at a different location in the battery cell stacking direction from a location of any battery cell arranged in the other battery cell stack in the pair of the battery cell stacks.

Abstract: A first fin is formed on a first inside wall surface to protrude therefrom. The first fin exchanges heat between fluid and the first inside wall surface. A first fluid passage is divided between a first region that is a space where the first fin is arranged, and a second region that is a space where the first fin is not arranged. Fluid flows from the second region into the first region. The first fin includes an inflow port through which fluid flows into the first region, and an outflow port through which fluid flows out of the first region. The first fin is formed to extend from the inflow port to the outflow port. An area of the inflow port is larger than a cross-sectional area of the first fluid passage when viewed in a flow direction of fluid.

Abstract: A battery pack includes a housing accommodating a plurality of batteries and a blower. A control unit manages the temperature of the batteries according to the battery temperature provided by a temperature detector. When the battery temperature becomes equal to or higher than a predetermined cooling required temperature, the control unit executes a cooling mode of operating the blower to cool the batteries. The control unit executes a temperature equalizing mode of operating the blower to equalize the temperature inside the housing by causing the fluid flowing through the circulation path even when the battery temperature is lower than the cooling required temperature and the cooling is unnecessary.

Abstract: A battery pack includes a plurality of batteries, a housing, a circulation path, and a blower. The circulation path includes a bottom wall side path formed between lower faces of the batteries and a bottom wall which is the bottom side of the housing. The bottom wall is provided with a plurality of beams arranged in parallel for reinforcing the housing, and the batteries are arranged on the beams. The bottom wall side path is formed as a space surrounded by the lower faces of the batteries, the bottom wall, and the beam. The width of the bottom wall side path formed between adjacent beams is set to be larger than the width of one beam.
