摘要： An analysis material sheet is disclosed which is comprised of layers of material with strong adhesion for one another. The sheet includes a water-impermeable support having provided directly or indirectly thereon a layer of fabric. The fabric contains a hydrophobic organic polymer fiber and is physically activated on at least one surface thereof, with the physically activated surface being adhered directly or indirectly to the support. A reagent layer can be provided directly or indirectly on the liquid sample-spreading layer of fabric. By utilizing a fabric containing a hydrophobic organic polymer fiber, body fluids to be analyzed can be quickly and uniformly spread and by utilizing the physically activated surface of the fabric, strong adhesion between the layers can be obtained.

摘要： A bearing unit is provided which includes a shaft (51) to support rotatably, radial bearing (55) to support the shaft (51) circumferentially, a thrust bearing (66) to support the shaft (51) in the direction of thrusting, and a housing (56) having the radial bearing (55) and thrust bearing (66) disposed therein and in which a viscous fluid (57) is filled. The housing (56) has a sealed structure except for a shaft insertion hole (65) formed therein and through which the shaft 51 is introduced. Between the outer surface of the shaft (51) and the inner surface of the shaft insertion hole (65), there is defined a gap (69) having a sufficient width to prevent the viscous fluid (57) filled in the housing (56) from leaking out of the latter.

摘要： The bearing unit of the present invention has: a shaft; a radial bearing which supports the shaft in a circumferential direction of the shaft; a thrust bearing which supports an end of the shaft in a thrust direction of the shaft; a housing having a closed structure except for a shaft insertion hole in which the shaft is inserted, with the radial bearing and the thrust bearing being provided inside the housing; a stopper member which prevents the shaft from being pulled out of the radial bearing; and viscous liquid filled in the housing. The stopper member is made of an elastic member which is elastically deformed only in the radial direction and is hardly deformed in the axial direction. Hence, the shaft is prevented from being pulled out from the housing, and shortage of the lubrication oil around bearing surfaces is prevented from being caused by lifting of the shaft.

摘要： The invention provides a blood filter cartridge which is made so that the filtrate discharged from the filtrate outlet is not drawn back to the inside of the filtering chamber. The blood filter cartridge includes a blood filtering material, a holder containing the blood filtering material and having a blood inlet and a filtrate outlet, and a filtrate receiver which receives the filtrate discharged from the filtrate outlet. The blood filter catridge is provided with a means for preventing the filtrate in the filtrate receiver from returning to inside of the holder upon finishing filtration. Such means include the following: removing opposite faces around the filtrate outlet, making length of lower end of the filtrate outlet 0.8 mm or more, smoothing surface around the filtrate outlet, and forming surface around the filtrate outlet by a material having a small surface energy.

摘要： The blood filter unit of the invention is composed of a blood filtering material made of glass fiber filter and microporous membrane and a holder having a blood inlet and a filtrate outlet. The holder accommodates the blood filtering material so that the microporous membrane is located on the filtrate outlet side, provides a space between the blood filtering material and the filtrate outlet, and provides a means for preventing adhesion of the blood filtering material on the filtrate outlet side. By using the blood filter unit, a necessary volume of plasma or serum for analysis can be separated surely, irrespective of hematocrit value of the blood.

摘要： The method of the invention is for preparing a plasma or serum sample from whole blood and includes mixing an aqueous solution of an inorganic salt or an amino acid or salt thereof with the whole blood in an amount of 20% or less of the whole blood volume so that concentration of the inorganic salt or the amino acid or salt thereof becomes 10 to 200 .mu.mol/1 ml whole blood, and then, filtering the whole blood to remove blood cell components. According to the method of the invention, plasma separation from whole blood can be achieved efficiently, and recovered volume of plasma can be increased. By selecting reagent, good plasma which has no deviation in component viewpoint, and which is possible to measure in the same level accuracy as a plasma obtained by centurifuging, can be obtained through a simple filtration operation.
