    摘要: The invention relates to a method for converting an oxygenated hydrocarbon feedstock into an olefin product comprising: (a) forming a CHA framework type aluminosilicate sieve catalyst made from a substantially fluoride-free synthesis mixture comprising silicon and aluminum sources, a slurry medium, and a template, wherein the sieve is substantially free from framework phosphorus and exhibits a Si/Al ratio from about 40-60; (b) optionally formulating the molecular sieve catalyst with an oxidized aluminum-containing precursor matrix material and a clay binder to form a molecular sieve catalyst composition; (c) activating the catalyst by removing/decomposing the template; and (d) contacting the activated catalyst with the feedstock under conditions sufficient to form an olefin product comprising ≧about 65% by weight, on a water-free basis, of ethylene and propylene and having an ethylene-to-propylene ratio ≧about 1.2. Ethylene- and propylene-containing polymers can be formed from the olefin product.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to a novel catalyst composition and its use in the dehydrogenation of paraffins to olefins. The catalyst comprises an alloy of a Group VIII noble metal and a metal selected from the group consisting of zinc and gallium on a support selected from the group consisting of silica, zinc oxide modified silica and zinc oxide modified silica-pillared clays when said alloy is a zinc alloy, and silica, gallium oxide modified silica and gallium oxide modified silica-pillared clays when said alloy is a gallium alloy. The instant catalyst is an active and selective catalyst for the catalytic dehydrogenation of paraffins to olefins, especially gaseous paraffins, having the added benefit of retaining high activity and selectivity even following repeated regeneration by calcination in oxygen containing gas at temperatures of 450.degree. C. to 650.degree. C., preferably 450.degree. C. to 500.degree. C.

    摘要: A broadhead arrow sharpening accessory adapted to receive a flat file between end blocks for sharpening the broadhead blades. The end blocks contain end slots formed therein for receiving the ends of the file. Parallel rods extend between the end blocks alongside the side edges of the flat file. Support carriages are slidably mounted on the rods for receiving the broadheads with a blade extending outward frictionally engaging a file surface. The carriage and broadhead are moved in unison along the rod with the blade edge frictionally engaging the filing surface to sharpen the blade edge at the desired bevel angle.

The self-supporting structure has greater than 50% by weight of the active material in the self-supporting structure to provide a foam-geometry structure providing access to the active material. The self-supporting structures, which may be disposed in a processing unit, may be used in swing adsorption processes and other processes to enhance the recovery of hydrocarbons.
