    摘要: A double-acting hydraulic actuator structure for use in an automatic transmission has a two-layered structure which includes first and second frictional engagement element hydraulic actuators. The first hydraulic actuator includes a drum member and a first piston fitted hermetically and slidably in the drum member. The second hydraulic actuator is formed by the interior of the first piston and a second piston fitted hermetically and slidably mounted within the first piston. The first and second pistons are both urged toward their disengaged positions by the action of a common return spring. A second spring is provided for urging the second piston alone against the force of the return spring.

    摘要: Described herein is a brake support mechanism particularly suitable for use in a 4-wheel drive auxiliary transmission to reduce the axial dimensions and to facilitate assembling of the transmission, the brake support mechanism essentially comprising: a transmission case; a cylindrical rotary member mounted in the transmission case; a multiple disk brake constituted by a combination of brake plates splined on the inner periphery of the transmission case and brake disks splined on the outer periphery of the rotary member; a center support fitted in the transmission case in a position adjacent the multiple disk brake; and a hydraulic actuator including an annular cylinder formed in the center support on the side of the multiple disk brake, a piston slidably fitted in the cylinder, an operating fluid supply passage formed in the center support, a return spring located on the outer periphery of the multiple disk brake and having one end thereof abutted against the transmission case, and a return spring mounting member connecting the other end of the return spring to the piston.

    摘要: The self-healing system comprises a self-healing processor and an error mitigation system. The self-healing processor includes a code block associated with the operation of a portion of digital logic. The self-healing processor also includes a dynamic signature analysis circuit. The processor executes the code block. The dynamic signature analysis circuit creates a dynamic signature representing the operation of the portion of digital logic associated with the code block. The error mitigation system receives the dynamic signature from the dynamic signature analysis circuit. The error mitigation system compares the dynamic signature to a static signature to determine if the signatures match. If the signatures do not match, then the digital logic associated with the code block has an error. The error mitigation system retries execution of the code block. The error mitigation system stores log information describing the above events.
