    摘要: A photoelectric conversion device comprises a photodiode comprising a metallic electrode formed of a metal capable of forming a Schottky junction together with amorphous silicon, such as Cr or Ni, a transparent electrode formed of ITO or the like, and an i-type hydrogenated amorphous silicon layer sandwiched in between the metallic electrode and the transparent electrode. A bias voltage is applied across the metallic electrode and the transparent electrode so that the metallic electrode is biased to a negative potential relative to the transparent electrode. A Schottky barrier formed in the interface between the metallic electrode and the i-type hydrogenated amorphous silicon layer is used as an electron blocking layer. Thus, the dark current is suppressed on a low level and the photoelectric conversion device is able to operate at a high S/N ratio.

    摘要: A half bearing constituting a cylindrical plain bearing for supporting a shaft for rotation when two of the half bearings are combined together. The half bearing has two circumferential ends each of which has a plurality of circumferential grooves without formation of any crush relief surface. The grooves extend substantially over an overall circumferential dimension of the half bearing and include portions located at both circumferential ends of the half bearing respectively. Each portion has a larger axially sectional area than the grooves formed in a portion of the half bearing mainly subjected to load during rotation of the shaft.

    摘要: A sliding member obtained by molding a resin composition comprising an aromatic polyamide fiber, a polytetrafluoroethylene, a lead oxide and at least one other heat resistant synthetic resin, the aromatic polyamide fiber being in a proportion of 10 to 30% by volume based on the total volume of the aromatic polyamide fiber, the polytetrafluoroethylene, the lead oxide and the other heat resistant synthetic resin, the polytetrafluoroethylene being in a proportion of 5 to 20% by volume based on the total volume, and the lead oxide being in a proportion of 0.1 to less than 5% by volume based on the total volume, and provided that the total of the aromatic polyamide fiber, the polytetrafluoroethylene, the lead oxide and the other heat resistant synthetic resin equals to 100% by volume.

    摘要: A copper-alloy slide bearing for a low-rigidity housing having a three-layer structure of a steel back-metal, a copper-alloy layer and an overlay, the back metal containing 0.03 to 0.26% by weight of carbon. During the production of the slide bearing, a bimetal is prepared in such a manner that a back-metal portion is rolled at a total rolling reduction of 10 to 35%, and the resultant bimetal is heat-treated at a relatively low temperature, so that the slide bearing includes a back metal having a 0.01% elastic limit of not less than 300 N/mm.sup.2. When the copper-alloy slide bearing is used in a low-rigidity housing of an internal combustion engine, the slide bearing is capable of more excellently following the deformation of the housing, as well as capable of providing more excellent intimate contact and more excellent fretting resistance, than a conventional multi-layer slide bearing.

    摘要: A Cu-based wear-resistant alloy of a sliding material consists essentially of, by weight, 10-35% Zn, 2-20% Pb, 1-10% Ni, 0.1-1% B and, as required, 0.5-10% of Sn. The alloy can be used under severe conditions of use at elevated speed and temperature with reduced risk of seizure and corrosion. The alloy can be produced by mixing Pb powder and Ni--B alloy powder with Cu--Zn powder or Cu--Zn--Sn alloy powder, or mixing Ni--B alloy powder with Cu--Zn--Pb alloy powder or Cu--Zn--Sn--Pb alloy powder. The alloy can be compacted and sintered to form a sliding member or a composite sliding member is obtained by sintering and integrating the alloy on a steel backing plate optionally having a surface plated with copper.

    摘要: There is disclose a method of an apparatus for surface-treatment of half sliding bearings having a multi-layer construction including a steel backing, a bearing alloy layer of copper alloy or aluminum alloy, an intermediate plating layer and a surface layer. A plurality of half sliding bearings are attached to a support member in such a manner that the half sliding bearings are arranged end-to-end into a semi-cylindrical configuration. The support member is transferred to be sequentially inserted into a plurality of openable and closable plating cases mounted respectively within pretreatment tanks and plating tanks, thereby sequentially forming the intermediate plating layer and the surface layer on the half sliding bearings.

    摘要: A multi-layer type sliding bearing of aluminum alloy and a method of producing the same are disclosed. The multi-layer type sliding bearing includes a mixture layer which has a thickness of not more than 0.5 microns and which is constituted by a mixture of the constituents of the overlay and one element selected from the group consisting of Ni, Co and Fe. The mixture layer is provided between the overlay and a bearing layer of aluminum alloy. In order to prevent fretting, a 0.1 to 5 micron thick plating layer may be provided on the surface of a backing layer of steel which is located on the rear-face side of the bearing. This plating layer consists of the constituents which are the same as those of the overlay.
