摘要: An exhaust gas purifying catalyst for purifying exhaust gas discharged from an internal combustion engine of an automotive vehicle. The exhaust gas purifying catalyst comprises a substrate on which a catalytic coat layer containing a catalyst component is formed. The catalytic coat layer is formed by coating a slurry containing the catalyst component on a surface of the substrate. A crack-preventing coat layer is formed on an upper-most surface of the catalytic coat layer. The crack-preventing coat layer has a thickness of not larger than 50 μm.

摘要: A magnetic transfer device and method are provided. A magnetic field generating structure comprises a pair of permanent magnets connected to a return yoke. Respective magnetic poles of the magnets, of a different polarity from one another, oppose each other with a conjoined body disposed therebetween. The magnetic field generating structure is moved from a position at an outer periphery of the conjoined body, to a position at an inner periphery of the conjoined body, and then moved from the position at the inner periphery across the conjoined body toward the outer periphery, to a position outside of the conjoined body. The return yoke is positioned at a radially more outward position, toward the outer periphery, than are the permanent magnets. The movement of the magnetic field generating structure is carried out while maintaining a constant distance from the rotating conjoined body.

摘要: A high heat-resistant catalyst includes: noble metal particles; first compounds which contact the noble metal particles and suppress movement of the noble metal particles; and second compounds which envelop the noble metal particles and the first compounds, suppress the movement of the noble metal particles, and suppress coagulation of the first compounds following mutual contact of the first compounds. The first compounds support the noble metal particles, and single piece or aggregate of the first compounds supporting the noble metal particles are included in a section partitioned by the second compounds. A coefficient of linear thermal expansion of the second compounds is 1.2×10−5 [K−1] or less.

摘要: Disclosed is an exhaust gas purifying catalyst exhibiting excellent purification performance for a long period of time by suppressing coagulation of a noble metal. A catalyst powder comprises a noble metal and first and second compounds. In the catalyst powder, the first compound carries the noble metal and is separated from another first compound carrying a noble metal by the second compound. At least one catalyst layer comprising the catalyst powder is formed on an inner surface of a substrate. The catalyst layer has fine pores. A fine pore volume of fine pores having a fine pore diameter of greater than 0.1 μm to less than or equal to 1 μm is 10% to 60% of the fine pore volume of fine pores having a fine pore diameter of 0.1 μm or less.

摘要: The present invention relates to a difructose anhydride (DFA)-containing composition and use thereof. DFA is a cyclic disaccharide in which the reducing termini of two fructose molecules bind each other to hydroxyl groups at the other nonreducing termini. According to the present invention, it has been revealed that DFA is effective in accelerating the absorption of magnesium, zinc or copper, accelerating bone formation, accelerating diuretic action, and improving bowel movement and is useful in inhibiting dental caries. A composition of the present invention can be used as a composition for a medicinal product and a food or drink product (including feed for animal use). Examples of a medicinal product and a food or drink product for human or animal use include formulated powder milk, parenteral nutrients, health food and drink products, and additives for feed and are not particularly limited as long as they are ultimately in an orally administrable form.
