摘要： The package size of a diode is made smaller. On the element forming face of a semiconductor substrate having a p−-type conductive type, after a hyper-abrupt p+n+ junction of a p+-type diffusion layer, an n+-type hyper-abrupt layer, an n−-epitaxial layer, an n-type low resistance layer and an n+-type diffusion layer is formed, an anode electrode is formed on the top of the p+-type diffusion layer and a cathode electrode is formed on the top of the n+-type diffusion layer. Thereafter, electrode bumps are formed on the top of the anode electrode and the cathode electrode to thereby manufacture a small diode that can be facedown bonded onto a mounting board.

摘要： For marking a package efficiently at low cost, there is provided a dicing sheet 25 having transfer patterns 28A, 28B and an alignment mark 31 disposed at predetermined positions on a main surface of a base material 26, and an orientation flat 32 of a semiconductor wafer 1 and the alignment mark 31 are aligned with each other, then the main surface of the dicing sheet with the transfer patterns 28A, 28B and the alignment mark 31 disposed thereon and a back surface of the semiconductor wafer 1 are affixed to each other, and thereafter heat and pressure are applied to a back surface of the dicing sheet 25, thereby allowing the transfer patterns 28A and 28B to be transferred at a time to back surfaces of semiconductor chips from the dicing sheet 25.

The package has a structure in which an anode and a cathode are arranged on one surface of a semiconductor chip, each electrode having a bump electrode for connecting the electrode to an external substrate. An insulating resin is provided on the surface of the semiconductor chip and on the surfaces of the bump electrodes, except at least for the connection portions to the external substrate.

摘要： An object detection apparatus includes an incident optical system, which includes light source units and a combining unit combining light beams emitted from the light source units; a deflection unit including rotating reflection parts that deflect the light beams to scan and be irradiated on a predetermined range of an object; an imaging unit forming an image based on the light from the predetermined range of the object; and an optical detection unit detecting the object based on the light received via the imaging unit. Further the combining unit combines the light beams such that each of the combined light beams passes a single light path when projected onto a predetermined plane, and each of the light paths exists outside a region of the deflection unit when projected onto the first plane.

摘要： A fixing device includes a fixing unit, a power supply unit, a pressure applying unit, and a controller. The fixing unit fixes toner onto a recording medium, using heat generated by a heat generator. The power supply unit supplies power to drive the fixing unit. The pressure applying unit applies pressure to the recording medium in a nip part between the pressure applying unit and the fixing unit. When plural recording media are sequentially transported, the controller controls the power supply unit to supply power during a first time period from when a trailing edge of one of the recording media passes the nip part to when a leading edge of the subsequent recording medium arrives at the nip part, in accordance with a relationship between the first time period and a second time period required to start the supply of power after the supply of power is stopped.

摘要： A fixing device includes a fixing unit, a power controller, a pressure applying unit, and a timing controller. The fixing unit fixes toner onto a recording medium transported in a determined transport direction, by using heat generated by a heat generator. The power controller controls supply of power for heating the fixing unit. The pressure applying unit applies pressure to the recording medium in a nip part formed between the pressure applying unit and the fixing unit. The timing controller controls the power controller to start supply of the power at a time which is a determined time period prior to an arrival time at which a leading edge of the recording medium in the transport direction arrives at the nip part.

摘要： A fuel battery system of the present invention includes: an alkaline fuel battery; a fuel supply device for supplying a fuel to an anode of the fuel battery; an oxidizing agent supply device for supplying an oxidizing agent to a cathode of the fuel battery; a liquid supply device which supplies a liquid to the cathode; a valve which switches between fluids to be supplied to the cathode; and a control device which controls the switching of the valve. The fuel battery system suppresses the neutralization of an anion-exchange electrolyte due to carbon dioxide in the air, by supplying the liquid from the liquid supply device to the cathode and making the cathode in the state of being immersed in the liquid when the fuel battery stops power generation.
