摘要: A terminal metallization (8) is applied onto and structured on a layer structure on the upper side of the component, the terminal metallization is applied on the upper side of an insulating layer (7) with an opening on a metallization (6) provided for electrical connection. By filling a hole produced in a covering dielectric with metal, a contact rod (12) seated on this terminal metallization (8) is formed. This contact rod is resiliently movable in a surrounding opening (14) of the component on the free part of the terminal metallization (8) anchored in the layer structure. This enables the reversible contacting of the component to a further component arranged vertically thereto, whereby the planar upper sides lying opposite one another can be brought into intimate contact because the contact rod (12) pressed against a contact (15) of the other component is pressed back into the opening (14) and an adequately firm connection of the contacts is achieved by the spring power of the terminal metallization (8).

摘要: A method and apparatus for the reversible contacting of a semiconductor circuit level to assist in performing a function test. The apparatus includes a testing head having test points arranged at a test side lying opposite the contact surfaces of a semiconductor circuit level. The test points are formed of liquid contacts in recesses in the test side of the testing head wherein the liquid contacts form menisci that project beyond the surface of the testing head. The recesses, in turn, are provided for metallizations which are connected to electrically-conductive leads. In addition, the surface may be provided with a roughening or with etched trenches.

摘要: A function test is implemented for an individual circuit level (1) that is provided for vertical integration in a semiconductor component. Stacks of circuit levels respectively provided over or under this circuit level in the finished component are simulated as test heads (2, 3). These test heads are provided with terminal contacts for reversible contacting. The circuit level (1) under test is connected to these test heads (2, 3) during the function test, and the test heads are removed after the test.

摘要: One embodiment relates to a method for determining a concentration of a molecular species of interest. In this method, electromagnetic radiation is transmitted into a volume of gas within an output exhaust system. The transmitted electromagnetic radiation has a first intensity at a characteristic frequency that is associated with a transition of the molecular species of interest. Electromagnetic radiation is then received from the volume of gas at a second intensity. The method then correlates the first intensity to the second intensity to determine the concentration of the molecular species of interest within the volume of gas. Other methods and systems are also disclosed.

摘要: The invention relates to a label identification system comprised of a transmitting-receiving unit and of identification labels on which the identification information is stored in the form of a digital identification information word. The provision of a circuit on the identification label in the form of a circuit arrangement, which is prefabricated using a polymer technique and on which the identification information is subsequently placed by the offset printing of conductor tracks, enables the provision of an identification label involving a minimal consumption of energy during inexpensive mass production. The bulk of the identification information processing is transferred to the transmitting-receiving unit.

摘要: Sensor elements are arranged in a hexagonal grid. A processor element in the form of a primitive automaton is assigned to each of the sensor elements in the grid. The processor elements are set up to perform algorithms which enable lines of a fingerprint to be simplified such that characteristic minutiae of the fingerprint (endings and branchings of the lines) can be extracted. The processor elements are embodied using CMOS/Neuron MOS threshold value logic or using CMOS/NMOS pass transistor logic. The image grid can be read out via read-out circuits as a matrix.

摘要: A magnetoresistive memory is described and contains a common word line voltage source, bit lines, word lines crossing the bit lines, and a memory cell array having memory cells with cell resistors. The memory cell array further has reference cells with reference cell resistors. The memory cell array is configured such that for testing a respective cell resistor in each case two of the reference cell resistors nearest the respective cell resistor and the reference cell are simultaneously connected to a common word line voltage. A first feedback amplifier together with the two reference cell resistors form a summing amplifier. A second feedback amplifier together with the respective cell resistor form an amplifier having an equivalent gain as the summing amplifier. A comparator is connected to the summing amplifier and the amplifier. The comparator has an output supplying an evaluation signal dependent on the respective cell resistor.
