Disclosed are a resin composition and a molded article using the same. The resin composition may be obtained by mixing a thermoplastic vulcanizate and a polyethylene resin with a thermoplastic olefin resin, a polypropylene resin, an inorganic filler and a thermoplastic rubber, and in particular, the thermoplastic vulcanizate and the polyethylene resin may be obtained from biologically obtainable materials (biomass). Thus, the resin composition may be environmentally-friendly because it does not emit offensive odor of harmful compounds due to decreased generation of carbon dioxide and volatile organic compounds unlike petroleum-based materials. Further, superior mechanical properties such as elongation, hardness, strength, etc. that cannot be achieved only with conventional biodegradable resin may be ensured, and, at the same time, processability and moldability may be improved.

The resin composition comprises: an amount of about 40 to 50 wt % of a polyester copolymer including a dicarboxylic acid component residue including terephthalic acid and a diol component residue including dianhydrohexitol; an amount of about 10 to 20 wt % of at least one copolymer selected from a group consisting of unsaturated nitrile-diene-based rubber-aromatic vinyl grafted copolymers and alkylmethacrylate-diene-based rubber-aromatic vinyl grafted copolymers; and an amount of about 40 to 50 wt % of polycarbonate. Further, an amount of 0.1 to 0.5 parts by weight of a phosphate base antioxidant-based on 100 parts by weight of the resin composition is further added to the resin composition.

The vehicle seat cover includes a top layer provided in the top portion, a bottom layer provided in the bottom portion, and a intermediate layer positioned between the top layer and the bottom layer. Each of the layers has a tricot texture, and the top layer includes the first yarn having a configuration in which the dope dyed microfiber yarn and the first high shrinkage yarn are interlaced. Thus, the suede material may have superior friction fastness and the light fastness and the vehicle seat cover is manufactured at less cost than a vehicle seat cover made of a conventional artificial suede.
