摘要: An offshore liquefied natural gas floating storage regasification unit that may receive, store, and process liquefied natural gas from carriers. A floating storage regasification unit may include transfer equipment to offload liquefied natural gas from a carrier, a first mooring system to provide for mooring of a floating storage regasification unit at a location in a body of water, a second mooring system to provide for mooring a carrier to the floating storage regasification unit, and combinations thereof. A portion of the floating storage regasification unit may be composed of a double-hull containment structure.

摘要: A floating hydrocarbon treating plant containing a vessel having a hull and a deck and having tanks located below the deck for storing hydrocarbons, and a plant for treating hydrocarbons located at the deck of the vessel is provided. The plant for treating hydrocarbons includes spaced-apart modules, wherein each module has related plant equipment mounted on a module floor, and the modules rest on closed support girders that extend under the module in a direction perpendicular to the edge of the deck, and wherein the module floor is secured to one of the closed support girders.

Specifically, this invention discloses a method for conjugating or derivatizing macromolecules, such as oligonucleotides and proteins, using cycloaddition reactions, such as the Diels-Alder reaction or 1,3-dipolar cycloadditions. Included in the invention are the novel bioconjugated macromolecules that can be prepared according to the method of the invention.

If there is a desire to perform a forbidden task, a virtual partition (228) is created (610) in a storage device (108), such as a hard disk drive, associated with the computer system (100). The virtual partition (228) is stored as a file within the file system of the storage device (108). Operating system files (414) are installed in the virtual partition (228), and the storage device (108) is configured (616) to boot the computer system (100) using the operating system in the virtual partition. When the task is complete, the computer system (100) is configured to boot using the operating system other than the one in the virtual partition.

摘要: A new class of nucleic acid compounds, referred to as nucleic acid ligands, have been shown to exist that have a specific binding affinity for three dimensional molecular targets, including cell surface macromolecules. The nucleic acid ligands are identified by the method of the invention referred to as the Systematic Evolution of Ligands by EXponential enrichment (SELEX), wherein a candidate mixture of nucleic acids are iteratively enriched and the high affinity nucleic acids are amplified for further partitioning. The high affinity nucleic acid ligands are useful in capturing target cells.
