    摘要: The invention relates to two-component polyurethane adhesive preparations in which the resin component is an oleochemical polyol. The oleochemical polyols used are ring-opened products of the reaction of epoxidized fatty alcohols, fatty acid esters (particularly triglycerides) or fatty acid amides with alcohols. The oleochemical polyols may be varied within wide limits in regard to their OH-functionality and so formulated with the hardener polyisocyanate components that the adhesives satisfy the relevant requirements. Reaction products of epoxidized triglycerides with monohydric alcohols are a particularly effective substitute for castor oil.

    摘要: Heat-vulcanizable adhesives for the bonding of solids, the adhesive contains polybutadiene or a polybutadiene mixture and/or copolymers of butadiene with ethylenically unsaturated monomers and other vulcanizable components, and at least 0.5% by weight (based on the weight of vulcanizable components) of a metal salt as a hardening catalyst. The adhesive is particularly useful in vehicle assembly. The adhesive in less than 5 hours exposure to air forms a protective skin which imparts washer resistance to the adhesive.

    摘要: A method of adhesively bonding a first component to a second component, which comprises a peripheral zone with which the first component is adhesively bonded in overlapping manner is provided. In such method, a) at least one body of hot-melt adhesive is adhesively bonded to the first component in such a way that it comes into contact with the peripheral zone upon adhesive bonding of the first component to the second component, b) the peripheral zone is heated locally at at least one point, at which the applied body of hot-melt adhesive comes into contact with the peripheral zone upon adhesive bonding of the first component, indirectly or directly by electromagnetic induction to a temperature above the melting temperature of the hot-melt adhesive, c) the first component is brought into contact with the peripheral zone of the second component in such a way that the body of the hot-melt adhesive comes into contact with the point of the peripheral zone heated in step b), such that the hot-melt adhesive melts at the point of contact with the peripheral zone and bonds the first component to the peripheral zone of the second component after cooling. In addition, prior to step b) or after step c) a reactive adhesive is introduced in such a way between the first and the second component that it bonds the first component to the peripheral zone of the second component, the reactive adhesive being cured or allowed to cure.

    摘要: This invention is directed to a process for preparing an adhesive, pre-gelled plastisol composition which comprises the steps of(a) mixing polyvinyl acetate or copolymers of vinyl acetate with one or more comonomers selected from the group consisting of vinyl alcohol C.sub.3 -C.sub.18 -carboxylic acid esters, ethylene, propylene, butylene, and vinyl chloride with conventional non-gelled plastisol mixtures based upon (i) polyvinyl chloride and/or polymethyl methacrylate and (ii) one or more suitable plasticizers in a ratio of from about 10 to 200 parts by weight of polyvinyl chloride or copolymers of vinyl acetate to 100 parts by weight of polyvinyl chloride and/or polymethyl methacrylate,(b) heating the mixture from step (a) to a temperature of from about 80.degree. to 130.degree. C.The resulting composition is useful in joining, sealing, or stiffening automobile body components.
