    摘要: An internal combustion engine with an auxiliary combustion chamber is provided with a main combustion chamber for the combustion of an air-fuel mixture, an auxiliary combustion chamber communicating with the main combustion chamber through a passage, such that the ignition of an air-fuel mixture in the auxiliary combustion chamber induces ignition and combustion of the air-fuel mixture in the main combustion chamber, and an intake valve provided in the auxiliary combustion chamber for opening and closing a passage which leads to a fuel supply means. The engine further includes an intake valve lifter having a piston member which is associated with the intake valve and a cylinder member in which such piston member moves, a fluid pressure supply device driven in synchronism with the rotation of the engine to supply a fluid pressure, and a fluid pressure supply passage for feeding the fluid pressure which is supplied by the fluid pressure supply device to the intake valve lifter. Accordingly, the control of the opening and closing operations of the intake valve of the auxiliary combustion chamber can be performed in accordance with any driving conditions by feeding the fluid pressure supplied by the fluid pressure supply device to the intake valve lifter through the fluid pressure supply passage and moving the piston member in synchronism with the rotation of the internal combustion engine.

    摘要: An intermittent type swirl injection nozzle providing substantially improved spray characteristics while being easy to manufacture and install. The nozzle includes a nozzle body and a needle valve slidably disposed in a guide hole of the nozzle body with a spray hole communicating a body seat formed inside the nozzle body and the forward end of the needle valve. A swirl passage is provided around the needle valve for giving a swirl flow influence around the axis of the needle valve to fuel when the needle valve is lifted from the body seat. A straight passage is provided in a portion where the inner wall of the guide hole and the needle valve make sliding contact for giving the fuel a straight flow influence in the axial direction of the needle valve. The two flows are joined prior to passing through the spray hole.

    摘要: A direct injection internal combustion engine of a compression ignition type in which portions of an injected fuel spray which have not been evaporated are prevented from striking the walls of the combustion chamber, and the fuel spray is prevented from catching up the air around it when moving in the combustion chamber, thereby providing an engine having reduced combustion noise, reduced amount of smoke and noxious emissions, and improved fuel economy. A combustion chamber is formed in the piston substantially in the form of a spherical cavity gradually narrowing towards the opening of the cavity at the top surface of the piston. An air intake mechanism swirls intake air supplied to the combustion chamber. A swirl injector injects a fuel spray substantially in the form of a hollow cone having a velocity component in a direction tangential of the central axis of the nozzle. The nozzle is offset from the central axis of the cavity and inclined with respect to the central axis of the cavity so that the fuel spray is injected in a forward direction of a swirl stream of intake air in the cavity.

A capturing area for capturing the developer that flows through a flow channel from the suction hole to the outlet is provided in the flow channel. A cross section of the capturing area in a radial direction of the flow channel is larger than that of other areas.

The elastic member is pulled so as to rotate the rotating member in association with a movement of the collecting member, thereby rotating the opening-closing plate so as to open or close the suction path.

    摘要: The paper feeding apparatus includes a manual feed tray, a spindle, a rotation lever, a cam, an operation shaft, a projection portion, an operation arm, and a stopper. The paper feeding apparatus is able to switch to/from automatic and manual paper feeds for stable loading of paper on the paper loading board and manual paper feed. The manual feed tray is openable/closable by turning around the spindle. The rotation lever and the cam are fixed on the operation shaft. When the manual feed tray is opened, the projection portion pushes the rotation lever. When the manual feed tray is closed, the cam touches the backside of the operation arm and the stopper rises. When the manual feed tray is opened, the rotation lever is pushed by the projection portion and the cam rotates in the clockwise direction separating from the backside of the operation arm. The stopper, consequently, is lowered.

    摘要: A printing device includes a sheet feeding mechanism that feeds the recording sheet by a predetermined amount at a time, a carriage that is movable, substantially at a constant speed, in a direction substantially perpendicular to a sheet feeding direction, and a print head mounted on the carriage. The print head is capable of simultaneously forming a plurality of print lines when the carriage moves. The print head is controlled to print a first print pattern that is formed by part of the plurality of print lines on an upstream side. The recording sheet is fed by the predetermined amount after the first pattern is formed. Thereafter, a second print pattern that is formed by part of the plurality of print lines on a downstream side after the recording sheet is fed. At least a part of the first print pattern overlaps a part of the second print pattern.
