    摘要: An apparatus selectively operable for reproducing digital information signals recorded in accordance with a first format in relatively long tracks extending obliquely across a first effective recording width of a first magnetic tape, or for reproducing analog information signals recorded on a second magnetic tape in accordance with a second format in relatively short tracks extending obliquely across a second effective recording width which is narrower than the first effective recording width has a rotary drum around which a magnetic tape selected from the first and second magnetic tapes is wrapped to the same extent, playback heads rotatable with the drum scan obliquely across the first effective recording width of the selected magnetic tape wrapped around the drum so that, if the selected magnetic tape has been recorded in accordance with the first format, the playback heads reproduce the digital information signals while scanning the relatively long tracks, whereas, if the selected magnetic tape has been recorded in accordance with the second format, the playback heads scan beyond the relatively short tracks and thereby reproduce noise after the analog information signals recorded in such short tracks, and, when reproducing a magnetic tape recorded in accordance with the second format, the analog information signals reproduced from the relatively short tracks are time base extended so as to increase the duration thereof for eliminating noise.

    摘要: Cyclone separator for separating solid particles from particle laden gas having an outlet pipe assembly which includes a pair of co-axial outlet pipes spaced radially apart from each other to form an annular passage therebetween. The passage is connected through a so-called aspiration effect or jet pump effect type of suction device to ports located around the outlet pipe assembly. The outermost portion of a spiral upward flow of gas in the outlet pipe assembly which includes a substantial part of the particles contained in the upward gas flow in the outlet pipe assembly is drawn into the passage between the outlet pipes without disturbance of the upward flow and returned back and discharged through the ports around the outlet pipe assembly into a separating chamber to disturb the outer surface of the outlet pipe assembly thereby to prevent formation of a boundary layer on the outer surface of the outlet pipe assembly. The inner pipe of the outlet pipes is connected to an outlet chamber so that only the central portion of the spiral upward gas flow containing a less amount of particles is exhausted.

    摘要: Cyclone separator for separating solid particles from particle laden gas having an outlet pipe assembly which includes a pair of co-axial outlet pipes radially spaced apart from each other to form an annular passage therebetween. A plurality of accelerating air supplying nozzles are provided around the outer pipe of the outlet pipe assembly. A blower is provided to supply air under pressure to the annular passage and the nozzles. The air under pressure is discharged from the nozzles along the outer surface of the outlet pipe assembly in the same direction as that of a spiral downward flow of particle laden gas thereby accelerating the spiral downward flow and disturbing the outer surface of the outlet pipe assembly to prevent formation of a boundary layer. The air under pressure is also discharged from the annular passage to blow down the outermost portion of a spiral upward gas flow in the outlet pipe assembly which includes a substantial part of particles contained in the spiral upward flow, so that only the central portion of the spiral upward gas flow containing a less amount of particles is exhausted through the inner pipe of the outlet pipe assembly.

    摘要: A recording playback apparatus includes a video-signal converter performing certain signal processing to a video signal that is externally received and outputting the resulting video signal; a recorder player storing and playing back the video signal; and a controller switching between a normal mode and an edit mode on the basis of control by an editing apparatus controlling the recording playback apparatus. In the normal mode, a video signal played back by the recorder player is supplied to a display where the video signal is displayed as an image. In the edit mode, switching between a first video signal supplied from the video-signal converter and a second video signal resulting from addition of a delay corresponding to a time necessary for the signal processing in the video-signal converter to a video signal played back by the recorder player is performed to display the resulting video signal in the display.

    摘要: A calculator particularly suited for use in a small-sized electronic timepiece due to the reduction in size of the keyboard is provided. A small-sized electronic wristwatch having time-keeping circuitry and calculator circuitry includes an input circuit for supplying both data signals representative of numerical information and functional signals representative of operations, decimal-point, clearing and the like to effect processing of the numerical information supplied by the data signals. The numerical input circuit may include one switch the selective actuation of the switch supplying data signals representative of a particular number from the numerical input circuit to the calculator circuitry. Rotary switches and dual purpose switches may be incorporated in the input circuit.
