    Abstract: A light-emitting device includes a light-emitting element, a wavelength conversion member, and a light adjustment member. The light-emitting element includes a support substrate, and a first light-emitting portion and a second light-emitting portion disposed adjacent to each other. The wavelength conversion member is configured to perform wavelength conversion of first light emitted from the first light-emitting portion and second light emitted from the second light-emitting portion into third light. The light adjustment member overlaps one of the first light-emitting portion and the second light-emitting portion in a plan view. In the light-emitting element, an emission intensity of the first light at a light emission peak wavelength of the second light is lower than an emission intensity of the second light at the light emission peak wavelength of the second light, during light emission of the light-emitting device.

    Abstract: A light-emitting device includes a light-emitting element, a wavelength conversion layer, and a light-transmissive layer. The light-emitting element has a light exit surface. The wavelength conversion layer has a lower surface and an upper surface. The wavelength conversion layer is disposed on or above the light-emitting element so that the lower surface of the wavelength conversion layer faces the light exit surface of the light-emitting element. The wavelength conversion layer includes a first layer and a second layer. The first layer contains a first phosphor particle, and constitutes a part of the upper surface and a part of the lower surface of the wavelength conversion layer. The second layer contains a second phosphor particle and a light-reflective particle, and constitutes a part of the upper surface and a part of the lower surface of the wavelength conversion layer.
