摘要: A length of a partition of an intake port is set such that the ratio between the length of the partition and the distance between the centers of adjacent intake valves is not less than 0.45 nor more than 0.72. An injector is attached on the upper side of a throttle body. The angle Φ at which the injector is attached is set to be not less than 42 degrees nor more than 55 degrees. The injection starting timing of the injector is set within the periods in which the intake valves are closed.

摘要: In an exhaust system, a first oxygen sensor is attached to an exhaust pipe connected to a standard cylinder in which the amount of injected fuel is the closest to the average of the amounts of fuel injected in a plurality of cylinders. A controller calculates the air-fuel ratio of the standard cylinder based on the value detected by the first oxygen sensor. Then, based on the difference between the calculated air-fuel ratio of the standard cylinder and a predetermined target air-fuel ratio, the amount of correction to the amount of fuel injected in the standard cylinder is determined such that the air-fuel ratio of the standard cylinder is equal to the target air-fuel ratio. Furthermore, based on the amount of correction to the amount of fuel injected in the standard cylinder, the amounts of correction of the other cylinders are determined.

The fasteners each includes a male fastener member strip and provided on the inner surface of one of the edge portions and a female fastener member strip and provided on the inner surface of the other edge portion in opposed relation with the male fastener member. The slider 1 includes a slider body 2 and a clamp member 3 for the slider body 3. The slider body 2 includes two opposite plates 2a, 2a interconnected by a base portion 4 and foldable over each other at the base portion. At least one of plates 2a is formed in an inner surface thereof with at least two grooves 5, 5 arranged in parallel for fitting therein respective fastener portions of the bag for the plates 5, 5 to press and engage the fasteners from outside. A tonguelike stopper 6 is positioned inwardly of the plates 2a, 2a and extends from base portion 4 to a position closer to the base portion 4 than the groove 5 immediately adjacent to the base portion when the plates 2a, 2a are folded over each other.

摘要: A solid state image pickup apparatus for removing noise includes a plurality of photoelectric transducer cells, and first and second switch circuitry. Signal readout lines are provided for reading out signals from the plurality of transducer cells. A plurality of first capacitors, each connected to one of the signal readout lines through the first switch circuitry, are provided for selectively storing first signals read out through the signal lines and the first switch circuitry after a predetermined accumulation period. A plurality of second capacitors, each connected to one of the signal read out lines through the second switch circuitry, are provided for selectively storing second signals corresponding to dark current signals read out through the signal read out lines and the second switch circuitry. Output circuitry is provided for cancelling dark current signals included in all of the first signals by subtracting each second signal from a corresponding first signal, and for outputting all of the first signals from which the dark current signals are cancelled.

摘要: A focus detecting device switchable between an active and a passive mode has a passive mode in which light from an object is accumulated in a light accumulation type receiving portion without light from a light source being projected onto the object, and an active mode in which light from a light source is projected onto the object. The light accumulated in the accumulation type receiving portion is used to effect focus detection. An accumulating control circuit is provided for controlling the accumulation operation performed by the light receiving portion. A processing circuit is provided for performing the focus detection calculations on the basis of the accumulated output of the light receiving portion as controlled by the control circuit. A change-over circuit is provided for automatically changing between the passive and active modes on the basis of the accumulation state during the accumulating operation before the control of the accumulation operation by the control circuit is terminated.
