The backlight assembly includes a plurality of light sources, a printed circuit board on which the light sources are mounted, and a light guiding plate. The light guiding plate has a curved shape and guides the light provided from the light sources to the display panel. The light sources are sequentially arranged along the curved direction of the light guiding plate, and a longitudinal direction of at least one of the light sources is different from a longitudinal direction of the other light sources.

A second light conversion layer is disposed between the light source and the first light conversion layer and includes a plurality of fluoride-based or nitride-based phosphors. The first light conversion layer is configured to convert the blue light into green light, and the second light conversion layer is configured to convert the blue light into red light.

    摘要: A manufacturing method of a backlight unit includes providing a solder paste on a printed circuit board and forming a solder part in a first area of the printed circuit board, aligning a bank mask on the printed circuit board to align a first opening defined through the bank mask with a second area of the printed circuit board not overlapped with the first area, providing a bank material in the first opening and forming a bank on the printed circuit board in an area corresponding to the second area, separating the bank mask from the printed circuit board including the bank thereon, and connecting the solder part of the printed circuit board and a light emitting unit to each other.
