摘要： A permselective membrance suitable for obtaining fresh water by the desalination of sea water and salt water is provided herein, said permselective membrane being prepared by the reaction of an aromatic polycarboxylic acid component with a mixed diamine component comprising a diaminodiphenylsulfone compound of the formula (I), ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 is hydrogen atom or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.12 hydrocarbon group, R.sup.2 s may be same or different, each representing a monovalent organic group, and n is an integer of 0 or 1 to 3, and an alicyclic diamine compound containing two secondary amino groups in the same or different ring(s).

摘要： To obtain a white reflective film that is hard to warp and can ameliorate unevenness in the luminance even when used in such a manner as to be superimposed on a chassis having convex and concave portions for placing circuits and the like or used with an LED, and can prevent uneven close contact with a light guide plate and damage of the light guide plate, the white reflective film for edge-lit backlight is made to meets the requirements (i) to (iii): (i) the stiffness is 2 to 10 mN·m; (ii) convex portions are formed on at least one surface (A) and the maximum height of the convex portion is 15 to 60 μm; and (iii) the cushion rate at the side of a surface (B) opposite to the surface (A) is 12% or more.

摘要： The disclosed image capture device is provided with: an image capture unit which implements image capture; a detection unit which detects start-up related operations relating to the start-up of image capture functions; and a control unit which controls the image capture unit. When the detection unit detects start-up related operations, the control unit sends a first start-up instruction to the image capture unit, and then, within a specified timing, implements at least part of an end processing for functions being started-up which are not image capture functions. Upon receiving the first activation instruction, the image capture unit implements a first start-up processing which is one part of a start-up processing for the image capture unit, and thus a speculative state is entered.

摘要： A printer includes an upper unit which opens and closes about a fulcrum lying at a rear position of a lower unit, and a paper path which is opened by opening the upper unit. A sensor unit is attached to the lower unit and includes a lower sensor holder and an upper sensor holder which are disposed in opposition to each other via the paper path. The paper path can be opened by pivoting the upper sensor holder relative to the lower sensor holder. When the upper unit is closed, the upper sensor holder is also closed in accordance with a closing pivoting motion of the upper unit.
