摘要: In a diagnosis apparatus for an electronic control system adapted to vehicles and including a speed sensor for producing speed pulses responsive to the actual vehicle speed, a switch produces a diagnosis signal when actuated upon request for self-diagnosis in operation of the control system. A computer is responsive to the diagnosis signal to discriminate change of the level of each speed pulse during movement of the vehicle and to produce a first signal in dependence upon discrimination of change of the level of each speed pulse and a second signal in dependence upon discrimination of unchangeable state of the level of each speed pulse, and an indicator indicates an error in operation of the speed sensor in response to the second signal and normal operation of the speed sensor in response to the first signal.

摘要: An automatic engine stop and start apparatus for automatically stopping and starting an engine is disclosed. When a car starts to move while the engine has been automatically stopped and the car is to be braked, and a car velocity exceeds a predetermined speed and a booster pressure of a brake falls below a predetermined level, the apparatus issues an alarm. To this end, the apparatus includes a car velocity sensor for detecting the car velocity, a slope sensor for detecting the necessity of the brake for the car, a negative pressure switch fordetecting the booster pressure of the brake and alarm means responsive to detection outputs of those sensors.

摘要: Technologies are generally described for controlling temperature using compounds capable of photoisomerization. In some examples, a temperature control apparatus includes a first receiving unit configured to contain a compound capable of photoisomerization, a second receiving unit configured to contain the compound capable of photoisomerization, a first filter configured to pass first light from a first light source, and a second filter configured to pass second light from a second light source. Further, the first and second receiving units are coupled to each other so that the compound capable of photoisomerization may be circulated between the first and second receiving units, and the compound capable of photoisomerization in the first receiving unit and the second receiving unit is photoisomerized by at least one of the first light and the second light.

摘要: A composite coating device includes first to third processing chambers. The first processing chamber performs an ion beam etching as a pretreatment process in which an ion beam is irradiated on a surface of a magnetic head at a predetermined angle and the surface is removed for a predetermined depth. The second processing chamber performs a magnetron sputter deposition as a shock absorbing coating formation process in which a shock absorbing coating is formed on the pretreated surface. The third processing chamber performs an electron cyclotron resonance plasma chemical vapor epitaxy or a cathode arc discharge deposition as an overcoat formation process in which an overcoat is formed on the shock absorbing coating. A preparation chamber communicates with the first to third processing chambers through opening and closing devices for transferring the magnetic head.

摘要: A vehicle battery control system includes: a battery module that is constituted with a plurality of cells that are connected in series; a cell controller that detects each voltage at the plurality of cells; and a battery control unit that detects a total voltage of the battery module based on a signal from a voltage sensor disposed between a contactor connected to the battery module and an inverter equipment connected to the contactor and calculates a battery state of the battery module based upon the detected total voltage. And the battery control unit calculates the battery state based upon a total value of voltages at the plurality of cells detected by the cell controller in place of the total voltage when the contactor is in an open state.
