    摘要: A vehicle driving apparatus that operates a motor generator efficiently for improving driving comfort. The apparatus includes a motor generator and a connecting mechanism. The connecting mechanism connects the motor generator to an auxiliary device and selectively connects the motor generator to the engine. When the engine is maintained in an automatically stopped state, the motor generator is disconnected from the engine and drives the auxiliary device. When the engine stopping condition is satisfied, the motor generator rotates an engine drive shaft, thus suppressing vibration otherwise caused by stopping of the engine. When the engine starting condition is satisfied, the motor generator rotates the engine drive shaft to generate force to move the vehicle. In this state, the engine is started. When the vehicle is moving, the motor generator generates power through the engine.

The motor/generator is operated to rotate the second rotary element to start the engine, with the first one-way clutch inhibiting the reverse rotation of the third rotary element, and as an electric generator, with the first one-way clutch allowing the forward rotation of the third rotary element while the three rotary elements are rotated as a unit under an action of the second one-way clutch.

    摘要: Disclosed is a solution circulation type metal-halogen battery in which an electrolyte is circulated between a reaction tank and an electrolyte storage tank. This battery has a first group of rectifying plates and a second group of rectifying plates aligned in a row, respectively, so as to partition between the inlet of the electrolyte and the reaction tank and between the outlet thereof and the reaction tank, respectively. These first and second groups of rectifying plates are formed in such a manner that the interval between the respective rectifying plates increases in accordance with a predetermined functional equation in the direction of moving away from the inlet or outlet side of the electrolyte. This apparatus equalizes the flow rate and velocity of the electrolyte flowing through the reaction tank, thereby preventing the occurrence of an overvoltage or a faulty deposition of metal resulting from the non-uniform flow of the electrolyte.
