摘要: An air conditioning system suitable for automotive application is disclosed, in which the noise in the frequency range of about 1 kHz to 2 kHz is reduced. At least a sound absorbing member is arranged over the portions extending from a turning section of an air path where the air blown under pressure from a blower impinges and changes direction toward a heat exchanger, i.e. from the spiral end of a scroll casing to the front of an evaporator.

摘要: A scroll casing of a centrifugal blower holds a centrifugal fan therein and defines an air passage around the centrifugal fan. The scroll casing has a scroll starting position at the most upstream portion of the air passage, a scroll ending position at a downstream portion thereof, and an air outlet at the most downstream side thereof. Between the scroll ending position and the air outlet, the scroll casing has a warped face and a guide face. Accordingly, an air flow flowing apart from the fan and an air flow flowing close to the fan are prevented from mixing with each other. As a result, interference between the air flows and blades of the fan is generally prevented, whereby noise is decreased.

摘要: An inner diameter (d.sub.2) of a centrifugal-type multiple-vane fan at a side where the motor is inserted (i.e., the insertion side) is larger than an inner diameter (d.sub.1) of the centrifugal-type multiple-vane fan at a side where the motor is not inserted (i.e., the non-insertion side), such that the ratio of a difference between an outer diameter (D) and the inner diameter (d.sub.2) of the centrifugal-type multiple-vane fan of the insertion side to a difference between the outer diameter (D) and the inner diameter (d.sub.1) of the centrifugal-type multiple-vane fan of the non-insertion side is in a range of 0.6-0.95. Thus, a centrifugal-type blower having the centrifugal-type multiple-vane fan can obtain a desired air volume while maintaining a small size of the centrifugal-type blower.

摘要: There are provided a water-refrigerant heat exchanger 30 for exchanging heat between refrigerant discharged from a compressor 21 and engine-cooling water circulating an engine-cooling water circuit 10, prior to being fed into the radiator 22, and a bypass 25 for guiding the refrigerant prior to being fed into the evaporator 24 to the water-coolant heat exchanger 30 while bypassing the evaporator 24 and the compressor 21. When it is desired to accelerate the warming-up of the engine 11, the bypass 25 is closed to operate the compressor 21 to heat the engine-cooling water by high-pressure refrigerant, and when it is desired to complement the capacity of the radiator 12, the bypass 25 is open to guide the liquid-phase refrigerant to the water-refrigerant heat exchanger 30 to effectively cool the refrigerant by using the phase change of the refrigerant.

摘要: A refrigerating cycle comprising a compressor 1 which compresses and discharges a refrigerant containing a refrigerating machine oil in a refrigerant circulating passage for lubricating the compressor 1, wherein fine particles 17 having a nearly circular shape in cross section are put into the refrigerant circulating passage. The fine particles 17 present between the sliding surfaces of the compressor prevent direct contact between the sliding surfaces. Besides, the fine particles 17 having a nearly circular shape in cross section roll when the opposing side surfaces move relative to each other creating rolling friction. Therefore, the coefficient of friction decreases on the sliding portions of the compressor 1.

摘要: A centrifugal blower is provided with a casing which defines a spiral duct and a centrifugal fan which is rotationally provided within the casing. The centrifugal fan has a bottom plate and a plurality of blades which are equally spaced along the periphery of the bottom plate. The plurality of blades extends parallel to the rotational axis. The duct is arranged to reduce the size of a low velocity air flow zone which is generated in an upper radially outer region in the spiral duct. The low velocity air flow zone, which appears in an upper radially outer region in the air duct, is reduced to reduce surging in the blower.

摘要: A battery pack includes battery modules each having a battery cell and a battery case housing the battery cell therein. The battery modules are stacked in a stacking direction so that a cooling passage for allowing a cooling medium to flow is defined between opposed surfaces of adjacent battery cases. One of the opposed surfaces has first ribs projecting toward the other of the opposed surfaces and extending parallel to each other along the one. The other of the opposed surfaces has second ribs projecting toward the one of the opposed surfaces and extending parallel to each other along the other. In the cooling passage, the first ribs and the second ribs intersect each other and end portions of the first ribs and end portions of the second ribs are in contact with each other in the stacking direction.

摘要: An automotive air conditioner comprises an offset blower for blowing an air, an evaporator is centrally disposed within a dashboard and receives the air from below, and a heater approximately horizontally disposed above the evaporator. The evaporator inclines downward along the direction of the air flow. A plurality of condensed water guide plates are provided under the evaporator so as to allow a condensed water smoothly flow on the surface of each guide plate and is discharged from the evaporator through a condensed water drain pipe.
