摘要： In an advanced-cruise-assist highway system, an AHS center facility, which is an upper facility for on-road facilities, periodically receives diagnostic information from the on-road facilities, and when it is determined that any on-road facility is in the faulty state, communicates the information that the on-road facility is in the faulty state to on-road facilities upstream from the faulty on-road facility, and the on-road facilities having received the information on the fault in the downstream on-road facility communicates the information that the downstream on-road facility is in the faulty state via a road-to-vehicle communication facility to AHS vehicles having the possibility of entering a zone under control by the faulty on-road facility. Further the information that the downstream on-road facility is in the faulty state is displayed on information board which can be recognize by vehicles having the possibility of entering a zone under control by the faulty on-road facility.

The information exchange system has a vehicle-mounted unit and a road-side unit providing information to the vehicle-mounted unit using a road-vehicle radio communication. The vehicle-mounted unit includes receiving unit receiving information transmitted from the road-side unit through a radio communication and transferring unit transferring at least a part of a content of the received information to a vehicular occupant. The road-side unit including storage unit storing information to be transmitted to the vehicle-mounted unit and transmitting unit transmitting information to the vehicle-mounted unit through the radio communication. The storage means stores at least information relating to a service provider where a service is provided at the location thereof. The road-side unit also includes editing unit editing information stored in the storage means on the basis of a relative position between the service provider and a communication region of the transmitting means and generating an edited information to be transmitted from the transmitting means.

摘要： Disclosed is a card reader which has a comparatively simple construction and is capable of appropriately detecting whether or not a magnetic head for skimming has been attached thereto. A card reader is provided with: a magnetic head which reads magnetic data recorded on a card and/or records magnetic data onto a card; a card insertion unit which has an insertion opening into which a card is inserted formed therein; and a metal sensor (which detects that a foreign body containing metal material has been attached to the front surface side of the card insertion unit. The metal sensor is arranged in substantially the same position as the arrangement position of the magnetic head, in the width direction of the card.

摘要： Disclosed is a urea solution reformer and an exhaust gas purifier using the same, configured to heat a carrier gas supplied from a carrier gas source by a carrier gas heating unit (16), to inject the carrier gas heated by the carrier gas heating unit from a carrier gas injecting nozzle (17), and to cause a urea solution (18) to be supplied by a first urea solution supply nozzle (21) to a tip end of the carrier gas injecting nozzle so that the urea solution is atomized by the carrier gas injected from the carrier gas injecting nozzle. Provided to face toward the carrier gas injecting nozzle is a catalyst unit (23) for decomposing the atomized urea solution to reform it into an ammonia gas. Further provided is an ammonia gas supply nozzle (24) attached to an exhaust pipe (12) of an engine so as to supply the ammonia gas discharged from an outlet of the catalyst unit into the exhaust pipe. The urea solution is sufficiently atomized, and thus reformed into an ammonia gas by the catalyst unit with a good efficiency.

摘要： A magnetic head which includes a core, a coil wound on the core, terminals to which ends of the coil are connected. The magnetic head also includes a substrate on which mounted are a demodulating electronic component for demodulating an analog output signal output from the terminals to create a digital demodulated signal, and an encrypting electronic component for encrypting the demodulated signal to create an encrypted signal. A cable electrically connects the demodulating electronic component and the terminals. A case body stores the core, the coil, the terminals, and the cable. The demodulating electronic component is mounted on one side of the substrate, and the encrypting electronic component is mounted on the other side of the substrate. The substrate is fixed to the case body so that the demodulating electronic component is placed inside the case body while the encrypting electronic component is placed outside the case body.
