摘要： A vehicle mounted engine generator system is disclosed for supplying electricity to external electrical appliances and equipment used inside a camping car or outdoors in the camping site, which comprises a secondary water-cooled internal combustion engine of relatively small size and an engine generator electrically connected to the engine. The secondary engine has its cooling jacket connected to a cooling line supplying it with cooling water for engine cooling. Also, the cooling line is connected to a radiator connected to the main internal combustion engine of water-cooled type so that the heated cooling water through the secondary engine is cooled by the same radiator as for the main engine. Also, the secondary engine is electrically connected to the battery for the main engine in such a manner that the battery can be recharged from the secondary engine as well.

摘要： An engine-equipped apparatus including a control-display device which contains computing circuits into which is fed such data as the AC amperage data from an apparatus having an AC generator, and devices for displaying the data converted by these computing circuits. The control-display device is provided with a connection location capable of being freely connected to and disconnected from the main body of the apparatus through the use of a cable and multi-pin plug and socket. The cable is electrically located midway along those circuits of the wiring routes between the engine-equipped apparatus and the control-display device in which the signals are in an analog state, whereby, through the connection and disconnection as desired of a separate multi-core cable having at least one plug and socket of the same type between the aforementioned plug and socket, selection can be made between dcirect connection of the device to the engine-equipped apparatus and positioning of the display device in a location separated from the engine-equipped apparatus.

摘要： The present invention relates to an edger with a belt braking device, including a belt driving device and a cutter blade, which are arranged at the side of an edger vehicle. A bearing housing portion of the cutter blade is provided for forward and rearward movement, a belt cover for covering the whole driving belt is fixed to the edger vehicle, and a belt braking device is arranged between the front end of the belt cover and the front driven pulley, whereby performing ON-OFF operation of a clutch and engagement/ disengagement of a brake simultaneously is enabled. In this way, the fixed belt cover can be compact and the operation for changing of working conditions can be simplified.

摘要： A valve system for the overhead valve type four-cycle engine disposing the intake and exhaust valves substantially symmetrically to each other with respect to the cylinder center line, wherein the valve stems are so tilted in the cylinder head that the valve bodies are in juxtaposition close to the cylinder center line. Guide cams are disposed around the circumferential surface of the crank shaft, respectively return back to the same starting point while making two turns, and respectively have one projection in the course of the turn, for driving the intake and exhaust valves. Between the guide cams and the respective intake and exhaust valve, a sliding piece, push rod and rocker arm are provided, and the projection on each of aforesaid cam is designed to be placed at such a position as to engage with the sliding piece to the opening timing of the intake and exhaust valves.

A pair of auxiliary scavenging ports are provided at the opposite sides of the longitudinal plane in such a manner that in a horizontal cross-section the flows from the auxiliary ports do not intersect with the flows from the main ports. Further, the auxiliary scavenging ports are directed further upwardly than the main ports.

摘要： A rope for actuating a recoil starter is trained about a movable pulley outside a main body of the recoil starter, and the movable pulley is rotatably supported by a swing arm or a handle. By moving the swing arm in swinging movement or pulling the handle, the movable pulley can be moved to thereby pull the rope out of the main body of the recoil starter to start the engine. By virtue of the action of the movable pulley, the distance covered by the movement of the swing arm or the handle is smaller than the length of the portion of the rope paid out of the main body of the recoil starter to actuate the recoil starter. At least one further pulley may be provided for guiding the rope in its movement, and a manually operated handle may be additionally attached to the rope. Pulling of the rope automatically makes it possible to actuate an auxiliary engine starting means.
