    摘要: The invention relates to a low-pressure gas-discharge lamp which, with its light in the red spectral region, influences the biological circadian rhythm by controlling melatonin secretion. The tubular glass discharge vessel, which can also be in the shape of a double helix, is filled with a noble gas or noble-gas mixture and mercury. Electrodes for the supply of energy are arranged at both ends of the discharge vessel. The discharge vessel is multicoated on the inside by phosphor layers applied one after the other. The first phosphor layer located on the glass surface consists of phosphor which is excited both by ultraviolet mercury radiation between 180 nm and 400 nm and also by the blue radiation between 400 nm and 490 nm emitted by the mercury discharge, and by the visible radiation emitted by the second or further phosphor layers between 400 nm and 550 nm, where visible light having emission maxima in the region between 500 nm and 650 nm is generated. In combination with light sources for melatonin suppression, the low-pressure gas-discharge lamp is, with its warm light, particularly suitable for stimulation of the quasi-circadian rhythm in an individual in the absence of external conditions, such as sunlight. Owing to its good colour reproduction and high energy efficiency, it meets all necessary requirements of a light source for illumination tasks and is thus also suitable for general lighting.

The non-stoichiometric tetragonal silicat e is prepared in a high temperature solid state reaction with a surplus of silica in the starting mixture. Furthermore, luminescent tetragonal Copper Alkaline Earth Silicates are provided for LED applications, which have a high color temperature range from about 2,000K to 8,000K or 10,000 K showing a CRI with Ra=80˜95, when mixed with other luminescent materials.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a light emitting device including one or more light emitting diodes to primarily emit light having different wavelengths in the wavelength range of ultraviolet rays and/or blue light, and a wavelength-conversion means to convert the primary light into secondary light in the visible light wavelength range. The light emitting device of the current invention has a high color temperature of 2000 to 8000 K or 10000 K and a high color rendering index of 90 or more, thus easily realizing desired emission on the color coordinate system. Therefore, the lighting emitting device is applicable to mobile phones, notebook computers, and keypads or backlight units for various electronic products, and, in particular, automobiles and exterior and interior lighting fixtures.

    摘要: A compact energy lamp having high luminous flux, long life and a very similar color temperature of between 2300° K and 6500° K which includes a vacuum-type discharge vessel filled with mercury and a noble gas. The inside of the discharge vessel is provided with a luminescent layer and is provided with means for maintaining discharge. The luminescent layer includes two phosphors. The first phosphor is a green-emitting gadolinium magnesium borate silicate, activated with cerium and terbium, and the second phosphor is yttrium oxide: Eu3+, which emits in the red spectral region.
