摘要: An artificial stomach for replacing the normal stomach of a patient. The artificial stomach comprising a food reservoir adapted to collect food, an inlet connected to a first opening of the food reservoir and further being adapted to upstream connect to the patient's gastrointestinal tract, and an outlet connected to a second opening of the food reservoir and further being adapted to downstream connect to the patient's gastrointestinal tract. The artificial stomach further comprises an implantable wireless energy receiver configured to receive wireless energy transmitted from a wireless energy transmitter located outside the body of the patient.

摘要: A surgical method of treating reflux disease comprising the steps of dissecting the fundus at least partially down on the posterior side thereof; in the approximate direction towards bursa Omentalis, as well as away from the spleen. The method further comprising the steps of dissecting the esophagus such that the esophagus is disconnected from the surrounding tissue at least 3 cm in a cranial direction from the angle of his and connecting the fundus to the esophagus by placing at least two posterior single sutures in a posterior suture line, or a posterior continuous suture line, connecting the fundus to the esophagus, on the sinister-posterior side of the esophagus, and placing at least two anterior sutures, in an anterior suture line, or an anterior continuous suture line, connecting the fundus to the esophagus, on the sinister-anterior side of the esophagus. The method further comprises placing an implantable movement restriction device between the angle of His and the diaphragm, such that the lower esophageal sphincter is prevented from sliding through the esophageal hiatus.

摘要: The present invention relates to an apparatus for treating a sexual dysfunctional female patient. In the apparatus, there is provided at least one implantable stimulation for stimulating at least part of the sexually responsive tissue of the vulva or the wall or the vagina of the patient by movement of the stimulation device and contact between the stimulation device and at least one area of the sexually responsive tissue of the vulva or the wall of the vagina. There is further provided an energy-transforming device, a control unit for controlling the stimulation device and an energy storage device for receiving energy from the energy-transforming device. The control unit is further configured to determine a current state of the energy storage device.
