    摘要: Embodiments of mechanisms of an air treatment system are provided. The air treatment system includes a heating tank having a heating chamber containing air. The air includes gas, water vapor, a number of contaminants floating thereon. The air treatment system further includes a cooling tank having a first cooling chamber receiving the air from the heating chamber. Some of the water vapor in the first cooling tank condenses to a number of droplets, and some of the contaminants are mixed with into the droplets.

    摘要: The invention relates to an exhaust gas separating tower, comprising a washing section, a flash-distilling section above the washing section, and a liquid seal means between the flash flash-distilling section and the washing section. The washing section is configured for washing exhaust gas entering the tower with a cooling liquid to at least partially remove solid dust entrained in the exhaust gas, cool the exhaust gas, and condense at least a portion of moisture in the exhaust gas into liquid. The flash-distilling section is configured for flash-distilling the cooling liquid from the washing section to produce a cooled cooling liquid and a cooling liquid vapor. The liquid seal means is configured so that the cooling liquid produced by flash-distillation can enter the washing section through the liquid seal means while the flash-distilling section is in gas-phase isolation from the washing section, wherein a pressure in the flash-distilling section is lower than that in the washing section.

    摘要: Turbulent mixing condensation devices, methods, and systems adapted to condense a working fluid on particles from a sample gas to enlarge the particles for subsequent detection are provided. The device includes a vapor generator adapted to produce a working-fluid saturated carrier gas and a condensation chamber. The working-fluid saturated carrier gas is mixed with a sample gas containing particles to be detected and is then introduced to the condensation chamber. The operating conditions are controlled to enhance the condensation of the working fluid on the particles. The particles are typically forwarded to a particle detection device to detect at least one characteristic, for example, the size, of the particles. The flow of carrier gas to the vapor generator may be regulated to vary the degree of saturation of the carrier gas with working fluid.

    摘要: The present invention provides a process for minimizing the emission of particulate matter and precursors thereof from a flue gas stream of an engine comprising particulate matter and precursors thereof and at least one gaseous component, which process comprises the steps of: a. Obtaining a flue gas stream of an engine comprising particulate matter and precursors thereof; b. Increasing the moisture content of the stream by contacting the same with a first aqueous medium in an amount and at a temperature at which at least 50% of the water content of the first aqueous medium is evaporated; whereby a moisture laden gas stream, optionally containing suspension droplets, is formed; c. Cooling the moisture laden gas stream whereby suspension droplets are formed; and d. Applying a centrifugal force to the moisture laden gas stream and to the suspension droplets to effect the swirling thereof; whereby a treated gaseous stream and an aqueous stream are formed; and wherein the content of particulate matter in the treated gaseous stream is reduced by at least 50% compared with that in the hot gas stream as measured by cooling to about 50° C. with no further treatment and wherein the centrifugal force in step d is characterized in that the velocity of the moisture laden gas stream is between 20 m/sec and 120 m/sec.
