摘要: Methods and related apparatus for providing a chemical intervention processing solution for use within processing tanks. Processing tanks can include side streams or ancillary systems for generating the chemical intervention processing solution that can then be introduced into the processing tanks. The antimicrobial agents will be added and mixed in the side stream to form the chemical intervention processing solution. Additional actions can be conducted on the processing solution within the side stream including any and or all of heating, pumping, sampling, measuring, testing and pH adjustment of the processing solution. The chemical intervention processing solution can also be provided by a venturi injector that combines processing water and an antimicrobial agent and/or an alkaline agent outside of the processing tank. The processing solution can be used for various food processing applications.

摘要: A chemical liquid dilution system includes a first material offering device providing fluid, a second material offering device, and a mixing device. The second material offering device provides liquid. The mixing device includes a fluid mixer, a first connection port, a second connection port, and an output port. The fluid mixer has a fluid limiting channel with an interface communicating with the first connection port and another interface communicating with the second connection port and the output port. The first connection port is connected to the first material offering device. The second connection port is connected to the second material offering device. After the fluid passes through the first connection port and the fluid limiting channel, the fluid and liquid are mixed up to form a diluted chemical liquid, and the output port discharges the diluted chemical liquid. A chemical liquid dilution method is also disclosed.

摘要: An apparatus, system, and method to capture water power from head or pressure is provided utilizing pipes, inlets, and outlets. The apparatus comprises a central bore having an internal diameter suitable for a fluid flow, the fluid flow moves inside the central bore through the apparatus, and at least one outlet, the fluid flow exits the apparatus through the at least one outlet, optionally, a plurality of inlets for flowing additional fluid to the central bore mix the fluid flow with the additional fluid from the plurality of inlets. The apparatus can further mix the fluid through additional mixing devices and additional devices can be used to recapture energy such as hydroelectric power from the fluid flow. The system and method can capture water energy from the fluid flow.

摘要: An embodiment for a microfluidic device is provided. The device comprises two areas, arranged side-by-side, and a trigger channel. They include a first area, which is delimited by a first liquid pinning barrier, and a second area, which is delimited by a second liquid pinning barrier. The latter extends parallel to the first liquid pinning barrier to delimit a corridor. The trigger channel extends through the corridor between the two areas. In addition, the trigger channel connects the first liquid pinning barrier with the second liquid pinning barrier, allowing a first liquid pinned at the first liquid pinning barrier and a second liquid pinned at the second liquid pinning barrier to be contacted, each, by a reverse flow of the second liquid in the trigger channel and thereby start mixing at a level of the corridor, in operation. The invention is further directed to related methods of operation.

The gas dissolving unit 6 is configured with a hollow fiber membrane configured with a gas permeable membrane.

摘要: A system and method are provided for airless aqueous iodine production. The system includes a water feed line to iodine columns, an iodine concentrate supply line from the iodine columns with a sensor for measuring iodine concentration, a finished aqueous iodine supply line with an inline mixer for mixing the iodine concentrate with water from a water bypass line to produce a finished aqueous iodine. A programmable logic controller is connected to water feed line valve, iodine concentrate supply line valve and the sensor for controlling iodine concentration. The method includes flowing water through iodine columns to produce an iodine concentrate, filtering the iodine concentrate, measuring iodine concentration using a sensor, adjusting iodine concentration with water from a water bypass line, passing the aqueous iodine through a manifold that includes a vacuum system to an airless iodine product reservoir to produce airless aqueous iodine.

摘要: An apparatus for preparing a liquid preparation uses a two-part system. A first part includes a first reagent and a second part includes a second reagent. The first reagent and the second reagent react when mixed to form an active ingredient of the liquid preparation. The liquid preparation is a diluent. The apparatus includes a primary chamber for receiving a quantity of the first part, a quantity of the second part and a quantity of the diluent, a reagent inlet for admitting the first part and the second part to the primary chamber, a diluent inlet connectable to a diluent supply for admitting the diluent to the primary chamber, an outlet for releasing the liquid preparation from the primary chamber, and a flow controller to admit a pre-determined volume of diluent to the primary chamber in a pre-determined time period when the diluent inlet is connected to a diluent supply.
