摘要: A system for treating exhaust gas of a vessel having at least one engine equipped with a turbocharger includes a storage tank configured to store a powder for treating the exhaust gas, and a dosing assembly fluidly coupled to the storage tank. The dosing assembly is configured to inject the powder into the exhaust gas at or adjacent the turbocharger, and includes a nozzle for injecting the powder into the exhaust gas. The nozzle includes a conduit configured to transport the powder, and a conical member mounted to a distal end of the conduit and defining a central hole in fluid communication with the conduit for guiding a first portion of the powder through the central hole. The distal end of the conduit and the conical member together define an annular gap configured to guide a second portion of the powder through the annular gap.

摘要: An apparatus for preparing a liquid preparation uses a two-part system. A first part includes a first reagent and a second part includes a second reagent. The first reagent and the second reagent react when mixed to form an active ingredient of the liquid preparation. The liquid preparation is a diluent. The apparatus includes a primary chamber for receiving a quantity of the first part, a quantity of the second part and a quantity of the diluent, a reagent inlet for admitting the first part and the second part to the primary chamber, a diluent inlet connectable to a diluent supply for admitting the diluent to the primary chamber, an outlet for releasing the liquid preparation from the primary chamber, and a flow controller to admit a pre-determined volume of diluent to the primary chamber in a pre-determined time period when the diluent inlet is connected to a diluent supply.

摘要: An automatic chemical solution formulating device combines and mixes stored solids and liquids into user specified formulations and dispenses those formulations into containers. Chemical solids are stored in cartridges of material separated into predetermined dosages (for example in reeled blister packs), avoiding the need for weighing during formulation. Elements include user interface, computer-controlled automated loading and unloading port for reagent-containing cartridges, cartridge conveyor system, reader for identifying cartridges, blister-pack strip drive system, punching mechanism to release reagents, portioning chamber to mix solvent with solids or liquids with optional portioning, accommodating formulation delivery port, position sensors, liquid flow measuring devices, liquid and gas pumps and valves, and label printer. The combination of these elements allows high-speed formulation and dispensing of user-specified formulations.

摘要: A method of for mixing gases is described. The gases may include a first and a second gas wherein a gas mixing system accepts the gases and operates in a plurality of modes of operation to produce a discharge gas including a mixture thereof, and the second gas may be supplied without the first gas, and the first gas may be supplied without the second gas. The gas mixing system may be integrated with a gas processing system to produce a biogas-related product. The gas mixing system may be a compressor, a jet compressor, an ejector, an eductor, venturi jet pump, eductor-jet pump, and/or a thermocompressor, that uses a first stream of high-pressure gas to entrain a relatively lower pressure second gas, mixes the two, and discharges a third gas mixture that is of a sufficiently elevated pressure to be supplied to other areas of a production facility.

摘要: Systems and methods for the automated demineralization of bone and decellularization of soft tissue include a mixing assembly communicatively coupled with a control and reporting system. The mixing assembly includes a housing that supports a cannister sub-assembly forming a mixing chamber having a reagent inlet, a reagent outlet, and an internal fluid agitator. A motor is operably coupled with the agitator and configured to spin the agitator in first and second directions relative to the cannister, thereby agitating fluid contained within the mixing chamber. At least one pump is configured to progressively inject measured quantities of a plurality of reagents into the mixing chamber. The associated control and reporting system includes a user terminal that displays a graphical user interface enabling a user to initiate an automated demineralization or decellularization procedure in which the mixing assembly demineralizes tissue placed within the mixing chamber. Other embodiments are also disclosed.

摘要: The system, in one aspect, includes a first bulk storage container for holding a first bulk dry flowable material having a first dispensing assembly coupled with a first outlet, and a second bulk storage container for holding a second bulk dry flowable material having a second dispensing assembly coupled with the second outlet. The system, in one aspect, may further include a mixed storage vessel, as well as a controller in communication with the first dispensing assembly and the second dispensing assembly, the controller programmed to cause the first dispensing assembly to discharge the first amount of the first dry flowable material to the mixed storage vessel and cause the second dispensing assembly to discharge the second amount of the second dry flowable material to the mixed storage vessel over a comparable time period based upon weight based readings the controller receives from first and second load cells.

摘要: The present disclosure relates generally to a system for inerting a fuel tank. The system includes a fuel pump, a jet ejector, a first flow path between the fuel pump and the jet ejector, a valve along the first flow path, the valve blocking the fuel flow from the fuel pump to the jet ejector when closed, a second flow path from the ullage of the fuel tank to the jet ejector to allow fuel vapor from the ullage to travel from the ullage to the jet ejector, a vaporizer downstream of the jet ejector and configured to vaporize the fuel received from the jet ejector into the fuel vapor, and a third flow path along which the fuel vapor flows from the vaporizer to the ullage so that an fuel-air ratio in the ullage of the fuel tank is maintained at greater than a flammable fuel-air ratio.
