    摘要: A high speed granule delivery system and method is disclosed for dispensing granules in intermittent patterns onto a moving asphalt coated strip in the manufacture of roofing shingles. The system includes a granule hopper and a rotationally indexable pocket wheel having an alternating series of pockets and lands formed into the circumference thereof, and which is positioned adjacent a nozzle in the bottom of the hopper. Upper and lower side portions of the pocket wheel define and are exposed to upper and lower extents of a store of granules. A seal on the bottom of the lower extent of the store of granules seals against the raised lands as the wheel is indexed. In use, the pockets of the pocket wheel drive through and are filled with granules in the store of granules. As each pocket is indexed beyond the seal, it is exposed to the moving asphalt coated strip below and its granules fall onto the strip to be embedded in the hot tacky asphalt.

    摘要: An alignment film printing device, configured to improve coating quality of an alignment film, includes at least one printing unit, and the printing unit each includes: a cylinder body with an opening at a bottom and an extract opening on a top; a vacuum extractor connected with the extract opening; a plunger provided inside the cylinder body, and configured to draw the alignment fluid from the opening to the cylinder body; a vacuum tester provided at the extract opening and configured to monitor a vacuum degree inside the cylinder body and above the plunger; a range finder provided inside the cylinder body and configured to monitor a distance from the plunger to a top of the cylinder body; and a control device in signal communication with the vacuum extractor, the vacuum tester and the range finder respectively and configured to control a volume of the alignment fluid drawn into the cylinder body according to test values of the vacuum tester and the range finder.

The substrate liquid processing apparatus includes a processing unit, a nozzle, a silylation liquid supply mechanism, and a blocking fluid supply mechanism. The processing unit performs a water repellency imparting processing on a substrate by supplying a silylation liquid to the substrate. The nozzle includes an ejection port configured to supply the silylation liquid to the substrate positioned in the processing unit, and a silylation liquid flow path in which the silylation liquid flows toward the ejection port. The silylation liquid supply mechanism supplies the silylation liquid to the silylation liquid flow path in the nozzle through a silylation liquid supply line. The blocking fluid supply mechanism supplies a blocking fluid that blocks the silylation liquid within the silylation liquid flow path in the nozzle from an atmosphere outside the ejection port.

A nozzle, which is attachable to or integral with a dispensing end of the cartridge body, includes an outer surface and an inner surface, which defines a passageway for the flowable material. A flow control block is attachable to the housing and includes an inner surface defining in inlet passage and an outlet passage. The inlet passage is sized to receive at least a portion of the nozzle therein. The inner surface of the flow control block is configured to mate with the outer surface of the nozzle in a sealing relationship when at least a portion of the nozzle is disposed within the inlet passage.

    摘要: A coating system utilizing application under vacuum technology in which entrance and exit ports for the material to be coated are defined by a pair of horizontal gates and a pair of vertical gates at the inlet and outlet apertures of the coating chamber. A mounting arrangement at each port mounts the top vertical gate and the two horizontal gates in sliding relation with associated edges of the inlet and outlet apertures. Positioning arrangements are provided for each of the slidably mounted gates for setting an initial position of the associated gate, and each gate is provided with spring means for biasing that gate toward its initial position. A dimension sensing-adjusting arrangement is provided with a dimension sensing element mounted in the coating chamber by a mounting arrangement which enables the dimension-sensing element to detect strips of larger than normal thickness and automatically adjust the vertical position of the top vertical gate at the exit port to maintain clearance between the bottom edge of that gate and units of material passing through the exit port. In one embodiment, a masking element is provided between the entrance and exit ports to preclude application of coating material on preselected surface portions of material passing through the chamber.
