    摘要: The apparatus for applying to a road, (1), run-way or equivalent a point-formed or dotted paint or marking (M"), especially a traffic indication line comprisesa reservoir (R) containing a supply of highly viscous material (M) to be applied to the road (1) anda nozzle section (10,10') in itself comprisingconduits (11) ending in orifice zones (11',11") for forming preliminary stages (M') of highly viscous drops andmeans (20,20',20") for flinging the drops down into engagement with the road (1).In a mechanical embodiment the orifice zones (11') of the conduits (11) are placed on a cylinder surface (12) and are mutually separated by means of partition walls (13) and the means (20) for flinging the material down into engagement with the road comprise a rotatory shaft (21) and a number of shovel blades (22).In a pneumatic embodiment the means (30) for flinging the drops down into engagement with the road (1) comprise a plurality of compressed air tubes (20') each leading to an orifice zone (11") and another plurality of tubes (20") leading away from the said zone ('11").These apparatus constitute simple and cheap embodiments of an apparatus which effectively flings the marking mass into contact with the road.

    摘要: A coating apparatus for a traveling web comprising two coating heads and a traveling path changing roller is disclosed. A bar coater is arranged close to a pass roller. The bar coater is fixed at such a position as to contact the web when the pass roller is moved down. An extrusion coater is arranged below a backup roller in such a manner as to move up and down. If the pass roller moves up and bends up the traveling path of the web, the web separates from the bar coater. Then, if the extrusion coater moves up, the web is coated with the coating solution by the extrusion coater. If the pass roller and the extrusion coater move down, the web is coated with the coating solution by the bar coater.
