Provided is a method for making a ceramic clay brick using waste battery powder. Valuables of the waste batteries are separated through a crushing, pyrolysis, pulverizing, and magnetic separation processes. The remaining waste battery powder is processed in order to utilize the remaining waste battery powder as a colorant in a brick making process. Clay powder is added to the processed waste battery powder to make a black-colored, dark red-colored, or dark brown-colored brick according to its contents. According to the present invention, since the waste battery powder mainly including manganese and zinc can be processed into the colorant and mixed with the clay powder to make the black-colored, dark red-colored, or dark brown-colored brick according to its contents, purchase costs MnO2 used as the colorant during the making process of the ceramic brick can be remarkably reduced. In addition, superior bricks can be made at low cost. Particularly, since the waste batteries are recycled, environmental pollution can be prevented and economic effects can be expected due to the waste recycling.

The present invention relates to a production method for a lightweight construction material using asbestos waste, and more specifically to a production method for a lightweight construction material using asbestos waste in which the production takes place with the addition of loess, silicon carbide, a zeolite and half silty clay to asbestos waste, and relates to a lightweight construction material produced thereby. By adding silicon carbide, loess, a zeolite and half silty clay to asbestos waste, the present invention has the advantageous effect that construction materials can be made lighter in weight without the asbestos component being detected, and an environmentally friendly lightweight construction material can be produced which has outstanding strength, thermal insulation properties, forming properties, water-absorbing power and water-retaining ability.

Building material wastes containing harmful asbestos and inorganic wastes are subjected to sintering reaction treatment to obtain asbestos-free products which are provided for recycling of waste materials. The asbestos containing building materials inorganic wastes are crushed to be mixed such that the mixture is subjected to a sintering step at a temperature of 600null C. through 1500null C. to allow the same to react thereto, thus obtaining sintered reaction products which is asbestos-free and non-hazardous. The inorganic wastes includes incineration ash from sewerage sludge which has so far used for reclamation purpose only. Sherd, glass wastes or the like can also mixed therewith for sintering reaction to obtain non-hazardous permeable blocks, thus contribution to establishing recycling systems. The method of producing such asbestos-free non-hazardous products are also provided.
