摘要: The invention discloses a method for preparing lead smelting slag glass-ceramics based on the oxidation of silicon-rich silicon smelting slag and composition adjustment, and belongs to the technical field of resource utilization of smelting slag rich in monatomic silicon. The method comprises the steps: mixing the silicon slag rich in monatomic silicon with an oxidant, a fluxing agent and a clarifying agent according to a formula ratio, ball-milling and screening to obtain a tempering raw material with uniform size, and performing high-temperature oxidation melting on the tempering raw material to form an oxidation-state molten tempering material; and carrying out further mixed melting on the molten tempering material and hot lead slag, carrying out water quenching to obtain basic glass, and carrying out heat treatment system on the obtained basic glass to form the glass ceramics. According to the method, the smelting slag rich in monatomic silicon is subjected to oxidation tempering and mixed melting with the hot lead slag to prepare the basic glass, and the glass ceramics are obtained by regulating and controlling the heat treatment system of the basic glass. The method is simple in technological process, high in production efficiency and low in cost, achieves the collaborative high-value conversion target of the silicon-rich silicon slag and the lead slag, and is easy to industrially popularize and apply.

摘要: A method for recycling glass mat waste, wound rovings, and other products includes providing a source of glass mat, or a plurality of rovings, for example on a roll, and routing the glass mat or rovings into a submerged combustion melter. An unwind system and a pair of powered nip rolls, powered conveyors, or other arrangement may work in combination to provide a substantially consistent rate of material into the melter. The melter may operate under less than atmospheric pressure to avoid fumes escaping the melter. A slot in the melter allows ingress of the glass mat or rovings into the melter, and a glass mat former such as a folder may be used to ensure that the mat fits through the slot. Alternatively, the glass mat may be cut by a slitter prior to entering the slot.

摘要: An invention is provided for creating smoothed, heat-treated glass fragments. The invention includes placing a plurality of heat-treated glass fragments into a tumbling or vibrating apparatus. Each heat-treated glass fragment is formed from glass that has been heated to a temperature of at least 1000° Fahrenheit and rapidly cooled to a temperature below 700° Fahrenheit. The plurality of glass fragments are then tumbled or vibrated for a predetermined period of time such that surfaces of the heat-treated glass fragments are smoother than prior to tumbling. The glass fragments are thereafter removed from the tumbling apparatus, resulting in smoothed, heat-treated glass fragments that are suitable for direct handling without hand protection.

摘要: The invention provides a white sintered glass-ceramic tile and a method for preparing the white sintered glass-ceramic tile. The white sintered glass-ceramic tile is a single fired tile with a glazed glass-ceramic layer and a porous glass-ceramic layer, wherein each layer is prepared using same starting raw materials. The method includes milling the starting raw materials to obtain a homogenous mixture. The homogenous mixture is melted and poured in water to obtain glass frits. The glass frits are milled and thereafter, sieved to obtain glass frit powder with particle size of below 100 micron (μm). A mixture of the glass frit powder and one or more foaming agents is cold pressed to form a porous glass-ceramic layer. Thereafter, the glass frit powder is deposited on the porous glass-ceramic layer to obtain a glazed glass-ceramic layer. Finally, both the layers are fired together.
