    摘要: Oil soluble rheology modifying star macromolecules having a core and five or more polymeric arms, and compositions comprising the same. The polymeric arms on a star are covalently attached to the core of the star; each polymeric arm comprises one or more (co)polymer segments; and at least one polymeric arm and/or at least one polymeric segment exhibits a different solubility from at least one other polymeric arm or one other polymeric segment, respectively, in a reference liquid of interest.     摘要: An antifouling coating composition for application to a surface is described. The coating comprises a block copolymer binder. The copolymer includes at least two polymer blocks A and B, at least 50% of the monomer units in block A being monomer residues of ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic, sulfonic or phosphonic acids. The monomer residues have silyl ester side groups containing at least 3 silicon atoms in the silyl group. A substrate coated with the coating, a block copolymer binder and a process for producing a block copolymer binder are also described.

    摘要: A combination of a styrene reduction agent and a catalyst that effectively and economically reduces styrene emissions in Cured-In-Place Pipe, closed molding processes. The reduction agent generally comprises a calibrated mixture of salts including sodium chloride plus three persulfate salts: ammonium (APS), potassium (KPS), and sodium (NPS). These ingredients are combined in powder form and are compressed into soluble capsules containing calibrated amounts of the mixture. The capsule(s) may be prescribed through the use of software. The catalyst is hydrogen peroxide (H2O2). A calibrated amount of the styrene reduction agent capsule(s) are added to the cure water prior to starting the boiler equipment for the Cured-In-Place Pipe process, and this is followed by a calibrated amount of the H2O2 catalyst in order to reduce the residual monomer content in either process or waste streams.
