摘要: The invention concerns the field of hardmetal materials and relates to hardmetals such as those which can, for example, be used as cutting material for tools. The object of the present invention is to specify hardmetals which include a novel concept for the structural composition of the hardmetals. The object is attained with hardmetals which are at least made up of hard phases in particle form and metal binder arranged therebetween, wherein a high-entropy hard phase (HEH) is composed of at least four metals (Me) of the 4th and/or 5th and/or 6th subgroup of the PTE in the form of a solid solution of carbides, nitrides, carbonitrides, oxycarbides, and/or oxycarbonitrides of the metals, wherein the respective amounts of the metals in the HEH are essentially equal.

摘要: A ceramic tool material, in particular with piezoelectric effect and a preparation method thereof, and a cutting tool. The ceramic tool material includes the following raw materials by weight: 30-70 parts of matrix material, 30-70 parts of piezoelectric material, 5-10 parts of binder, and 10-20 parts of reinforcing phase and can be made into cutting tools. The cutting tool has a piezoelectric effect and excellent mechanical properties and can convert the cutting force signal into the charge signal during machining. By collecting charge signals, a cutting force can be measured and ceramic cutting tool condition can be monitored. Cutting force measurement function and high mechanical properties are integrated. A ceramic tool material with piezoelectric effect can measure the cutting force on the premise by meeting the cutting performance requirements.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a feedthrough dielectric body for an active implantable medical device includes the steps of forming a ceramic body in a green state, or, stacking discrete layers of ceramic in a green state upon one another and laminating together. The ceramic body has a first side opposite a second side. At least one via hole is formed straight through the ceramic body extending between the first and second sides. At least one via hole is filled with a conductive paste. The ceramic body and the conductive paste are then dried. The ceramic body and the conductive paste are isostatically pressed at above 1000 psi to remove voids and to form a closer interface for sintering. The ceramic body and the conductive paste are sintered together to form the feedthrough dielectric body. The feedthrough dielectric body is hermetically sealed to a ferrule.

The polymodal blend of matrix powder may have at least one first local maxima at a particle size of about 0.5 nm to about 30 μm, at least one second local maxima at a particle size of about 200 μm to about 10 mm, and at least one local minima between a particle size of about 30 μm to about 200 μm that has a value that is less than the first local maxima.

摘要: A hermetically sealed feedthrough for attachment to an active implantable medical device includes a dielectric substrate configured to be hermetically sealed to a ferrule or an AIMD housing. A via hole is disposed through the dielectric substrate from a body fluid side to a device side. A conductive fill is disposed within the via hole forming a filled via electrically conductive between the body fluid side and the device side. A conductive insert is at least partially disposed within the conductive fill. Then, the conductive fill and the conductive insert are co-fired with the dielectric substrate to form a hermetically sealed and electrically conductive pathway through the dielectric substrate between the body fluid side and the device side.

The electroconductive-film-forming composition contains copper particles having an average particle diameter of 1 nm to 10 μm, copper oxide particles having an average particle diameter of 1 nm to 500 nm, a reducing agent having a hydroxy group, a metal catalyst including metals other than copper, and a solvent, in which the content of the copper oxide particles is 50% by mass to 300% by mass with respect to the content of the copper particles, the content of the reducing agent is 100 mol % to 800 mol % with respect to the content of the copper oxide particles, and the content of the metal catalyst is 10% by mass or less with respect to the content of the copper oxide particles.

摘要: A method for producing a porous element is presented. A powdery metal-ceramic composite material is produced. The composite material has a metal matrix and a ceramic portion amounting to less than 25 percent by volume. The metal matrix is at least partially oxidized to obtain a metal oxide. The metal-ceramic composite material is grinded and mixed with powdery ceramic supporting particles to obtain a metal-ceramic/ceramic mixture. The metal-ceramic/ceramic mixture is shaped into the porous element. The porous element can be used as an energy storage medium in a battery.
