    摘要: A shifting control method for a vehicle may include a Wide Open Throttle (WOT) determination, by a controller, of determining whether the vehicle is in a WOT condition, a shift RPM determination, by the controller, of determining shift RPM using turbine RPM and slip RPM, when it is determined in the WOT determination that the vehicle is in the WOT condition, an estimated RPM determination, by the controller, of determining estimated RPM based on the shift RPM and a rate of change of the turbine RPM after the shift RPM determination, the estimated RPM being the shift RPM after a preset time period, an estimated RPM comparison, by the controller, of comparing the estimated RPM with a first preset RPM after the estimated RPM determination, and a shifting processing, by the controller, of performing upshifting when the estimated RPM is equal to or greater than the first preset RPM.

The transmission control system can also include a sub transmission that has two forward transmission gears mechanically shiftable in response to a shift operation. The transmission control system can further include a controller that shifts the transmission gears of the main transmission by activating a shift control motor, and control the clutches configured to enable and disable transmission of a rotational driving force of an engine. When one forward transmission gear of the sub transmission is shifted to the other forward transmission gear in response to the shift operation, the controller can relax engagement of the clutch if an engine speed exceeds a clutch release speed.

    摘要: A controller of an automatic transmission can be set to be in a first control mode and a second control mode for controlling a transmission gear ratio of the automatic transmission. The controller in the second control mode automatically changes the transmission gear ratio. The controller obtains an index value and upper limit speed of rotation speed of a transmission output shaft. The controller in the first control mode allows the transmission gear ratio to be changed when an operation member is operated to increase the transmission gear ratio and the index value is equal to or lower than the upper limit speed. The controller has a setting section that sets the upper limit speed. The setting section sets the upper limit speed based on vehicle acceleration when the controller is in the first control mode and the operation member is operated to increase the transmission gear ratio.

    摘要: A controller (9) estimates (calculates) an engine revolution speed of after shifting to a target gear position, based on vehicle speed and a gear ratio of an automatic transmission (3) at the target gear position. Then, the controller (9) changes the target gear position to a higher one when the calculated engine revolution speed is not less than a preset value. The controller changes the target gear position by one or more gears. Since the target gear position is raised, an engine does not overrun upon shifting down. If the target gear position is lower than a current gear position by one gear, and an engine overrun is expected, no shifting down is admitted.

    摘要: A method to prevent overspeed of an internal combustion and attached ancillary devices in a mechanized vehicle includes one or more procedures to prevent improper gear selection to disengage the lockup function of a torque converter, to initiate engine braking and to destroke variable displacement hydraulic pumps. Requested gear selection in downshift is allowed only after interrogation of brake pressure, ground speed, shift selection requested and torque converter output speed. The torque converter lock-up solenoid is activated or deactivated in response to torque converter output speed which is compared to selected values to engage or disengage. Engine braking using a compression release braking system response to engine RPM in manual or automatic mode to prevent overspeed. Variable displacement pumps are destroked in response to engine RPM by adjusting swashplate control. The systems may be operated independently or under the control of a common electronic module.
