摘要: The present invention relates to an at least partly implantable system for injecting a substance into a patient's body. The system comprises at least one implantable infusion needle arranged in at least one first housing, the at least one implantable infusion needle having a tip end for injecting a substance into a penetration area of a patient, and at least one drive unit coupled to the at least one implantable infusion needle and arranged for moving the tip end of the at least one infusion needle for varying the penetration site, wherein the at least one drive unit is a drive unit arranged for moving the tip end of the at least one infusion needle using hydraulic force. The system is adapted to use infusion liquid to be injected into the patient's body as hydraulic fluid.

摘要: An integrated cartridge assembly that is employed with an automated medication administration system in response to the acute medical condition. The cartridge assembly configured to be operatively coupled between a pump assembly and a medical port. The cartridge assembly includes a first cartridge and a second cartridge positioned within a housing. The first cartridge contains a portion of saline, while the second cartridge contains a portion of a medicament. The cartridge assembly also includes a gate member that maintains a separation distance between a manifold assembly and the first and second cartridges when in a locked position when the cartridge assembly is in the stored state. The cartridge assembly is operatively coupled to the medical port via a tube set that is fixedly coupled to the manifold assembly.

摘要: A system for delivering fluid to a user transcutaneously includes a subcutaneous infusion cannula base assembly, a cannula inserter assembly and a fluid connection assembly. The subcutaneous infusion cannula base assembly is configured to be located on the user's skin. The cannula inserter assembly is coupled to the cannula base assembly and is configured to drive an infusion cannula through the user's skin in a nominally helical trajectory. The fluid connection assembly is configured to fluidically connect the cannula base assembly to a source of delivery fluid. Cannula and stylet assemblies configured for helical or non-helical insertion are also disclosed.

The fill stations may be opened and closed to accept a reservoir and to allow fluid to be introduced into the reservoir for use with personal pump systems. The fill stations may hold the reservoir at a tilt relative to an underlying surface and may discourage overfilling of the reservoir. The filling stations may also include viewing windows having fluid lines marked thereon for indicating volume of fluid within the reservoir.

摘要: A medication delivery patch that is applied to the skin and activated to deliver a medication or other fluid into or through the skin. The patch may be completely mechanically driven, with no electronic components, for low cost, safety, and reliability. Pressing an activation button may set in motion a sequence of mechanical events that result in a needle exiting the patch into the skin of the user, and flow of fluid from an internal pouch in the patch into the user. When delivery is complete, another sequence of mechanical events may occur to retract the needle from the skin and stop the flow of fluid, and to show a visible indicator that delivery is complete. The patch may contain a fluid channel, such as a microfluidic channel, that controls the rate and time of delivery; this channel can be configured or selected for different medications or use cases.

摘要: A repeater system may control a pump by using a repeater and a user interface. An adhesive patch system may be used for affixing a pump or other object to a human body. Such an adhesive patch system may include two sets of adhesive members, each member including an adhesive material on at least one side so as to attach to the body. The members of the first set are spaced to allow the members of the second set to attach to the body in spaces provided between the members of the first set, and the members of the second set are spaced to allow members of the first set to detach from the body without detaching the members of the second set. Also, fill stations and base stations are provided for personal pump systems.
